Laurence Hilton Jacobs III used to be a lawyer before he swapped lives with two-year-old Cherie at the Body Exchange.  It was his choice.  But before le agreed to the swap, he negotiated an agreement.  In his contract, it clearly stated he wouldn't ever wear pants of any type.  Thus, he wasn't pleased to be in overalls, which he considered pants.    He wasn't buying his new 'Mommy's' argument that overalls are not really pants.

Unfortunately for him, his 'Mommy' was hanging tough.  She was sure this issue could be handled out of court.  She was sure that 'Cherie' would give in very soon.  Having to stay in a messy diaper until he agreed to his 'Mommy's' wishes could be very motivating.
