Authors note: Just a little bit of fun using mostly the words and pictures of an education film from the 50s.  I don't know if anyone will like it, but what the hell.

--------------------------

Jean (formerly Gene) had to leave his old school when he decided he wanted to dress like a girl full time.  Everyone knows him there.  In the 1950s, coming out wasn't an option.  So he transferred to Marriot High.

Usually, it's difficult for a boi/girl entering a new school to get acquainted and make friends.  But in Jean's case, it was easy.  He is a very good artist.  His first drawing won a school award and the prize-winning picture was posted on the bulletin board.  They seemed to open the doors for him.  All the girls were interested and anxious to meet him.

The first friend he made was Janet Nelson.  Of course, Marriott High is co-educational and the other half of our school student body is always interested in the pretty popular new gurl.

So while Jean's new friend Janet Nelson, was introducing her to some of the other girls, Jack Monroe and Bill Ellis, our too ranking Cassanovas were making a little bet as to who would make the first date with Jean.

Bill Ellis made the first move.  He was waiting on the steps when Janet and Jean left school that afternoon.  And soon was off to a running start in the competition.  Jack wasn't called the best open-field runner in Marriott High for nothing.  Besides, he still had some props in his hand, like an open convertible which had helped quite a few times in the past.

Bill didn't know it yet, but he was about to be out-maneuvered by an old trick.  The fake flat tire.

Jack was well in the lead now.  He drove 12 blocks out of the way to drop Janet off first.

Then he took his time getting Jean back to the grocery store.

Jean introduced Jack to his mother and father.  So he's won, he had a date with Jean for Friday night.

And now here he was, out with the most popular boy in school.

But when they drove home, Jean started to learn a little bit more about Jack.  Jean couldn't let anyone know his secret.  Now during the first week at a new school. (Especially not in the 50s).

Popularity had gone to Jack's head.    He was completely sure of himself, confident that none of the girls could resist him.

Jean's slap didn't hurt his face, but it did injure his pride.  He tried to laugh it off but he reached a decision that he had to get even.

Jack didn't lose any time giving the other boys a highly colored version of the date.  To regain his self-confidence and build himself up in their eyes, he added a few details.  Remarks about Jean, completely untrue.  Although gossips rarely worry about the truth.

Now the gossip began to spread.  Jean Ellis colored it a but more and passed it on.  Then Christine Mathers took over.  First, she used her lunch hour to tell her story to every girl who would listen.  That included practically every girl in the school.

When she got home, she took over the telephone to tell everyone she missed.  Yes, gossip spreads like wildfire especially with the help of girls like Christine.  By the end of the day, the harm was done.  Jean's reputation was ruined.

The next morning Christine still wasn't through.  She'd been jealous of the new gurl's talent and popularity from the start.

But the picture on the floor gave Jean his first inkling that something was wrong.  She knew it had been torn down deliberately.  He ask his friend Janet if he had done something wrong.  But Janet was too uncomfortable and embarrassed to tell Jean to her face.

Everyone took pains to ignore him.  He felt like an outcast like at his old school.  He couldn't imagine why.  No one knew his secret.

Jean was hurt and bewildered.  Mariott High seemed so wonderful last week.  Now, it was like a completely different school.

Gossip, Jean was lonely and miserable all week.  But, he was hopeful that once he was initiated into the girls' club things would be better.

However, Jean had already been black-balled even before the club scavenger hunt had started.  But instead of telling her, the club president made his assignments far more difficult than the other girls, hoping Jean would fail, disqualifying himself.

Not knowing this, jean started out of the scavenger hunt as eagerly as the other girls.  She had little problem though finding such things as a jockstrap and a condom.  He was willing to work twice as hard as the other pledges to be initiated.

The rest of the pledges finished their assignments and had been notified of their acceptance before Jean returned.  Now the girls were really embarrassed.  Jean came back with every one of his assignments completed.  What could he do next?

The rest of the pledges finished their assignments and had been notified of their acceptance before Jean returned.  Now the girls were really embarrassed.  Jean came back with every one of his assignments completed.  What could he do next?

"Nothing," Christine told her, she'd been blackballed.  She wasn't wanted.

Jean couldn't understand.  He'd done his assignments as well as any of the girls.  Why had he'd been rejected?

Christine said, "She'd known very well why.  Because they didn't want her kind of girl in their club."  Christine had no idea what type of gurl Jean really was.

Jean still didn't understand.  He was sure no one knew his secret.  Janet finally had to explain that they all knew about her, about Jack's story.

Jean was stunned, how could anyone believe that?  About 'her'?

When Mr. and Mrs. Guage came home, Jean told them what had happened.  That he hadn't been accepted by the club because of the gossip about him.  Not because of the penis in his panties.

He said he was quitting school.

Mr. Gauge paid Jack a little visit.  He brought Jean along.  They explained that Jean was really a guy and that if he didn't say he lied, that that would make sure everyone knew it.  Jean had lifted his skirt and remove his panties to show Jack.

Horrified, Jack realized that if he didn't do something, all the kids at school would think that he got it on with another boy.  He remembered all the things he said that they had done together.  If it was disclosed that he was with a boy like that, he would be in worse shape than Jean.  He was the one doing the bragging.

It was also explained to Jack, that he had to start dating Jean for real.  He had to do anything that Jean told him to.  Not that he could tell people.  Everyone else would only know that they were going steady and that Jean and Jack might kiss a little bit, but little more.

Jack had to tell the whole school that he was lying about what he had done with Jean.  That he was very sorry.

Jean feigned that she would take him back.  Then Jean did to Jack what Jack said he had done to Jean.  Jack had trouble sitting down for a week.

As for that BITCH Christine, Jean would take care of her in his own sweet time.
