The Elevator Hundred and Second Floor (Patreon)

Cardonali the magical imp was doing what he always did, he caused  trouble to others for his own amusement.  Cardonali had the ability to  put any thought into a person's mind and manipulate them as he wanted  to.  He stood unobserved or at least unacknowledged in the back of an  elevator waiting to see who would get in.

Alexi and his daughter Daniella entered the elevator after a fun day out.  Alexi carried his daughter on his shoulders.  The fun was continuing for Daniella.  But Alexi was deciding something. He was a little bit scared to do it, but he had to.  It just couldn't wait.  He had been thinking about this for quite a while now and it was time.

Alexi put Daniella down on her feet and then he stood right in front of her.

"Will you look at me, Daniella?" Alexi said quietly.  he was trying to summon up the courage for what he must do.

"I just wanted to say thank you," then Alexi cleared his throat once again.  "for coming into my life.  Seriously, you mean so much to me actually.  You molded me into the man that I am today.  Like the man I've always wanted to be.  I'm so thankful for you Daniella.  And you fill my heart and my whole life with so much joy and happiness and love and...it would take me an eternity to tell you all the joy and all the love and the happiness is in my heart because of you.  You are my world, Daniella.  My whole universe.  And I promise baby, I promise baby.  I'm gonna spend this lifetime being truthful to you, protecting your heart, and loving you unconditionally as long as there is a breath in my body."

Then Alexi got down on one knee and sincerely asked, "Daniella, WILL YOU MARRY ME?"

Daniella threw herself into Alexi's arms as she quietly said "Yes!"  The pair hugged.

"I love you so much."

A few seconds later, Daniella asked, "What are we going to tell Mommy?"
