That is fascinating, I'll check it out! It would explain why in the few reaction videos for this film I've seen, they always pick up on it or at least suspect it. What's great about this film is that I think it still holds up even after you know, a lot of films kind of lose that upon rewatch. Side note, one of my favorite little actors-poking-fun-at-themselves moments is in Oceans Twelve, where Bruce Willis does a cameo as himself, and he keeps getting approached by fans who tell him they guessed the twist in 6th Sense, until he finally gets irritated and says, "You know, if so many damn people figured it out, how come the movie grossed half a billion dollars?" 🤣

That’s hilarious. I never saw that bit. I think a film like The Usual Suspects not only retains great replay value, but actually lets the viewer see the film through a whole new prism they didn’t see it through on a first time watch. Not giving away any spoilers here, but I’m sure you know what I mean. The Sixth Sense is fun for reactions and to watch with someone who’s never seen it. But I don’t know how much replay value it has for me personally if I just wanted to watch a movie I love on my own. Regardless of being aware of the twist, it does hold up as a well made suspenseful film

Yeah, I can understand it losing its value over time for many. I did watch it with my teenage daughter last year, and I found myself becoming jealous of her. I know it sounds silly, but you can only watch it for the first time once, if you know what I mean. Another movie that is good not great, but has a great twist, is The Life of David Gale, speaking of Kevin Spacey.
