I’m going to include a sentence that you might not have triggered while playing the first alpha drop:

“How is it you found tropical flavored gummy bears, a spark plug, cartoon themed band-aids, and a yo-yo in your own car, but not a cloth?”

Each of the choice options can provide you with a bit more insight of just how prepared B was for this road trip, lol. Bee packed everything they thought could be remotely useful to you on this journey. Some of you may remember at the end of Book One that it’s revealed your friend also had a list of must-see sights along the way that could be great photo spots. It’s meant to show that the MC and B did have a fun trip over.

(We all know that took a bit of a turn into an ‘extended stay’, although those of you who triggered bestie B text or the romanced B text received a sneak peek within this drop. 👀)

I’m sure there are some headcanons about if B and the MC are experienced travel buddies or if this was their first long distance trip, but I do think the commonality will be a certain synergy. Your friendship can become strained; however, that is meant to come about because of Fernweh rather than starting the trip at odds. Even then, it seems most people have a soft spot for B, so I’m just lowkey torturing myself writing the harsher choices to say: ‘yes, they are in fact included!’.

They are interesting to write! I have to put on a different hat, so to speak, when digging at B.

Anyway, maybe if things turn out okay in the end, the MC and B can go on another, less eerie trip?
