September 24, inking (Patreon)

Oh my gosh, I'm looooooooving drawing my Kickstarter backers as Masturbateers. One of the reward tiers was getting to be a Masturbateer, which meant sending me (fully clothed) photos of yourself in specific angles and signing a waiver saying you understood and granted permission for your likeness to be used in a sexually explicit comic. 

Inventing new characters each week and figuring out what they looked like from a variety of angles was always a bit of a challenge for me, but now? Now I have a folder of volunteers that I know exactly how to draw from each side! I mean, I still gotta invent what they look like naked, but that's fun. 

The only thing that worries me a smidge is that they're almost all white, but I just try to balance that with extra Masturbateers of other ethnicities, so hopefully no one yells at me. 

I don't know how to explain how happy it's made me to draw these real life people. I feel like my cartooning of them has been better than when I'm manifesting a character out of an amalgamation of features from photos of folks I've collected off of Tumblr. 

It's fun. I like it.
