Sept 23, weeklong catch up and penciling (Patreon)

Dang, the last week-ish or so has been kind of nuts. 

Between starting last Thursday with an XOXO festival party, then the next morning getting a 7am flight to the east coast, attending a New York wedding for the weekend, flying back home that Sunday, starting Monday with a colposcopy (no cancer! woohoo!), fighting an intermittent yet pesky bug that made me come home from work early a couple days, getting a delightful houseguest on Wednesday who would stay with us until Sunday, and then doing a full weekend-long comic convention-- Let me just say, in all sincerity, I feel like I've been run over by a steamroller. 

Whole lotta energy going out, not any time to just curl up and let energy come back in, y'know? 

So yeah, I spent yesterday home, finishing up the last of the Kickstarter custom drawings and preparing ghostgreen's gorgeous guest comic to go up today. And today? Today I roughly penciled next week's five page edu-comic on sexy selfies. 

Remember I mentioned a while ago that Matt and I were crunching the numbers on whether we might possibly be able to hopefully bring him on as a full-time employee of the Oh Joy Sex Toy empire? It's kinda been happening in a very natural, organic way. He's still had his eye out for other job offers, but they've all been for work that he wants to get away from so he's been turning them down and just... bit by bit... spending his days working on OJST. We'll see after the Kickstarter is completely done whether there'd still be enough work to keep him full-time busy (and I have a very strong suspicion is yes, yes there is plenty to keep him busy all day every day) 

It excites me. 

I'm excited.
