I have a feeling, a good feeling, that this will be my last sick day. I can feel it in my bones. This is it. Tomorrow I'll be well enough to go to the studio. 4 reals.

Oh dang, so I wound up selling a lot more copies of my DAR! books than I anticipated. I've got enough to cover the orders, but, uh, I'm kind of in a pickle as to how get all the boxes of books down to the studio, since my little bike cart can only hold two. Also, I'm pretty sure that I'll still be too weak to haul 70lbs of books on my bike for 40+ minutes across Portland.

The hilarious thing about living in Portland is that NOBODY HAS A GODDAMN DRIVER'S LICENSE. Matt and I spent a good 15 minutes trying to remember which of our friends can legally drive/have access to vehicles. It's like trying to find a needle in a stack of bicyclists and public transit riders. YOU GODDAMN HIPPIES, GET A GODDAMN CAR. So you can drive my stuff around for me.

Right now I'm thinking... I'm thinking maybe we'll adjust the height of my bike's seat and MATT will tow them downtown and then I'll take the remaining two boxes on a dolly on the bus. Which will be hella awkward and it's possible the driver may not let me on? But then again, they let people with luggage get on, and this'll just be like... kinda biggish luggage. So maybe it'll be ok?

Anyway, I'm kinda excited because this'll be the first time Matt helps me out with shipping!

I *would* say that being sick has thrown me off my work train, except that I never felt like I'd gotten back on it since we went on our trip to visit Matt's family in England and then I went across the country for a friend's wedding. Being behind schedule IS my new schedule, apparently.

At least I got the comic laid out today, that is definitely something I accomplished. It's gunna be a five pager! I can... totally get this done by the weekend. And ship out 260 books by Friday. 140lbs of books that I will TOTALLY get to the studio by tomorrow. This is completely within the realm of possibility.

For sure.

Totally.

I know this is out of left field, but as a local fan and patron I'd be willing to help out with the moving of books. I'm out in Beaverton but have a wagon that can haul anything and everything you'd need moved. I'm free all day (work schedule, my weekend starts today) so ping me if you'd like some assistance. I assume you can get ahold of me through patreon, if not call five oh three eight oh four one two nine nine. :)

Richard, oh my gosh, that is so incredibly kind of you! I'm genuinely touched and I actually would take you up on your offer, but aNOTHER patron volunteered last night and she's going to help us out today <:) Jesus Christ, as if it's not enough that you people financially support us, you guys are actually willing to LITERALLY come over and help us out. Matt and I are honestly blown away. Anyway, as kind as your comment is, I'm deleting it so your phone number is not on display, even though, apparently, I have the best genuinely-good-people patrons on the internet. Thank you again, Richard!
