Hello everyone!
I hope you are having a nice day.

After being sick for almost a week i finally revived! And today im here with a new research, this is because i can't really decide on which option i like more, so im very interested in learning your opinions on this:
For the next versions (not 0.8) i want to add the public, however, there are a few things to take into account:
Option A:

Real Meshes: all the public characters will be 3d, this however will reduce performance on older computers.

Option B:

Texture public: The public aren't 3d characters, instead will be a group of 2d images. Zooming the camera out will reveal this. This doesn't look as good as Option A, however it has almost zero impact on performance.

Option C:

No public, only chairs: This focuses more on the intimacy of the Match. There is no public, only the chairs that can be seem from the other side of the fence. These are 3d models, and have a minor impact on performance, as they are low poly.

Option D:

Don't fix what's not broken:
Essentially, it will stay as it is, the fence won't be see-through so it will give the essence of intimacy that it has been going on since the first beta.

I will probably keep the option to keep the matches more intimate (ie: no public). but im interested in seeing what's your opinion on this!

I will be back soon with game updates, thanks for helping me make the game better for all of us!

Cheers!

-note- This post is public, so feel free to share it and help more people vote. Also Patron bonus to voting doesn't count here, as this is a purely Research topic.

Quick Edit: The models and the 2d image look lazy because its just reused material made for this test only. The final public will look better.

Is it possible to have all three options in the options menu so you can toggle on/off whichever one you want?

Random Guy

Option B, but with the option to have only female / male spectators or both.

Option E: Outside the mesh can have cameras set up with 1 3D NPC controlling them. You could also have chairs around that when a campaign or mission system is properly added in the later version the final mission can have some important NPC sitting in a few of them. Just a random Idea I had, If I had to choose one of the 4 I would pick D to help with performance issues.

I vote you leave something like this up to our imagination, so no public. I don't like the thought of stuff like this taking time and effort away from things like moves/costumes/characters/story/anything........Just my opinion.

MrZGames

You saying like a camera set up from the public POV? that's a good idea!

MrZGames

I have to investigate more, but im not sure if having the 3d meshes inactive will still reduce the performance on old computers :(

antidas

You could go for B and give us the option to turn it off.

ResoFights

Honestly, I feel like something like this shouldn't have an audience. Give it like an Ultimate Surrender feel. Visible mounted cameras, showing there is an audience watching, but its not distracting either competitor.

Nossi

either a or b, but maybe add a toggle option to enable and disable the crowd for people having issues with it? i personally would love to see A tho

A or D maybe it'd be interesting for some audience participation (For example putting dick through the wall and getting blown or showing a your opponents nether regions to get pounded by a guy in the audience. Should have high dominance to perform that move though. If not just keep it the same ^^.

MrZGames

The option to have Intimate / public mode will be there! :D
