Plans, Progress, & Announcements - (Patreon)

Since we have so many new faces here, I thought now would be a great time to get everyone up to speed on the plan - As many of you know, on my "spare" spare time in between tutorials I work on the assets for our upcoming game.

Something important about all these characters/weapons is that I will be releasing everything to the community when the game is over/complete. Each one of these models/characters takes entire days or sometimes weeks to complete. And, we've had a long discussion here on Patreon on how I can continue to give away my resources to the community, but also make a living at the same time. The system we've landed on is that the character models will all be free. The free model will include all the texture, UV, Albedo, and AO maps. I make new characters every year, and the Patrons/Members will get early access to those free characters before the rest of the community. But, the rigged/animated version of the characters will be sold on my artstation. My rigging and animation workflow is all on YouTube - So, if you'd rather do all the rigging and animations yourself for free, you can find all the information you need to figure that out on the channel -

BUT, I will be giving away a COMPLETE character rigged and animated to the community first. This will probably include a fully anime style shaded/textured Male Macrophage with one of the weapons you see above. Well run a few more polls here to make sure it includes all the animations you guys want it to have. But, yeah, the community character will be completely free with everything included.
