Which Design Do You Prefer?? (Patreon)

I've been tinkering with some final touches to the model and I have 2 possible ideas for the left arm. One has a single large spike on the elbow. The other has 3 small spikes on the elbow.

I had this idea that the spikes could project a small shield web that could deflect shots aimed at the torso. But, I'm not sure if it looks "too much". I kinda like it, but I understand that more isn't always better - So, what do you guys think? 1 big spike or 3 small ones? Feel free to flush out your reasoning in the comments, it really enjoy reading through the thought process behind your votes :)
