Took forever for the new Kinect to arrive, BUT totally worth it!!! Not only did I get the hang of how to record the raw animation, I also figured out a super fast and easy way to get the data from Kinect to Blender. We're in business people! And, I'm really excited to share what I've found out over the next 2 weeks!!!

Anyway, just wanted to let you all know, mo-cap tutorials are now in the works :)

I knew you could do it!!!! For your setup, is it a 1 kinect or 2? Or are the results good even with just one?

Just 1 'Xbox One Kinect', and the results are pretty good. I dare say the raw data is pretty usable with a little bit of clean-up. I was very surprised with the V2 Sensor, so you'll be seeing it in a video pretty soon :) I know you can use 2 sensors with ipi, but I heard the software for that is a couple hundred dollars a month, so I strayed away from it for the sake of keeping costs down lol. 1 Should be fine if you're just want fun simple animations -
