Once we export from Blender to Unity, it's a lot harder to make adjustments to the character, so I'm spending one last night making any final adjustments before exporting everything for sure.

A long time ago, I added claws to Exa because I thought in close combat it would be a cool extra feature. She has a VERY aggressive and sort of primal savage fighting style, so I thought it might be a nice touch, but, I'm not sure if it's a bit too much.

What do you guys think? Do you like the claws? Or is it too much??

Hmm - I like the idea but I am concerned that she might be pushing it a bit on capabilities. She's not invincible, right? Characters do far better in the longevity of their persona if they are, more or less, an underdog in combat. It's not the character with overwhelming capabilities that wins the day but more the character that has to push their abilities, and leverage their weaknesses, that typically wins out...exhaustingly. I am speaking more in line with Story then with modeling - so while claws are awesome, I just think that we may be tipping the scales a bit by including them. Leaves little room for strategy if every time she's in a bind she can always be badass with "something" she pulls from her weaponry. So - I vote no claws. I know - I'm a tad late on polling, but just my 2 cents before taxes. :)
