Well ya'll, I had my 4th underwater photoshoot of the year today as well as my first sunburn of 2023! Ugh! I was doing so well on protecting my skin this year. Ever since I got home I've been dousing myself in soothing moisturizer and aloe. Hopefully I'm good enough at mending and attending to it that it will heal quickly without any peeling or blistering. What lesson did we learn, kids? When you're swimming around high noon for hours... apply sunscreen multiple times! I'm such an idiot. Petra was modeling with me and got burned pretty badly, too. I guess I got a little too cocky with my luck this year. Never again! I swear it!

Besides the ultraviolent damage to my precious cells, it was a fantastic session with a photographer I'd never worked with before. They had a friend with a gorgeous spot of land down in Snellville with a large pool around 10-12 feet deep (perfect for underwater dancing!). Can't wait to see how those turned out.

As for this set, this is the remainder of shots that Lauren and I took a few weeks ago during our experimental session with her underwater polaroid streaming camera. These were taken with her full format DSLR, if ya couldn't tell. God, I love the water. My pale ass just needs to be more mindful.
