Underwater Polaroid Experiments (Patreon)

Well, this was a fun little experiment! 

Lauren can this cool little nifty waterproof Polaroid streaming camera that she hadn't gotten a chance to try out yet, so we decided to take advantage of the swimming pool at my apartment and give it a whirl! For a cheap thing under $100, I'm not mad at it, especially considering our pool's clarity was pretty lacking. We're talking about taking a trip down to the springs for some shenanigans; maybe I'll even grab a GoPro (I've been saying that for awhile, but... someday)!

Funnily enough, I actually entered my apartment's leasing office/main building for the first time ever right before this shoot. Somehow in my 3 years of living here, I've always been able to avoid going inside of the office. Well, that changed yesterday! There were brief thunderstorms an hour before we were set to shoot, so the complex had decided to lock up the pool. It was clear by the time we were set to shoot, but the lock was still on the gate, so I had to battle my anxiety and conquer my fears to go inside and request them to remove the lock, hahaha. Obviously, I did it and they agreed! Bless them - they probably thought I was so weird coming down after a storm to swim in my full set of make-up and jewelry. 

In other related news, I have another underwater session tomorrow with my friend Fuquan from For Fuqs Sake Productions. We've shot together before if you recall my publication in VIGOUR Magazine. He's arranged for us to utilize the pool at a mansion in the Atlanta area, so I'm pretty dang excited! Wish me luck!
