I just recently got word that I'm going to be returning to Florida once more this year in November! Sadly I'll have to break the news to my mother that I'll be gone for Thanksgiving; my partner's parents booked us all a stay down in Daytona Beach for a week around that time. We'll probably have our own celebration when we return shortly after. I'm not really one for most holidays, but I try my best to show my mother how much I appreciate her and come around for the holidays. Everyone else, too, but especially her.

Here's a lovely set that I shot back in August of 2021 when I visited Miami for the first and only time! It was so thick and humid and sticky there. I knew it would be, but wow. Somehow a lot of these still turned out pretty beautiful and this forest was truly something else. I've made note that I need to return here the very next time I am in the area. The trees and the texture of the ground and the hues of everything... it was like a painting. I'd love to photograph my own work there. These photos don't capture it as much as they capture me, but they are really nice.

I do hope to return to south Florida one day, but Daytona is nice and familiar at this point. It's technically a vacation, but I'd love to get a gig or two down there as photographer or model. Maybe I can finally make time to find and visit some of the springs I've heard so much about! Any recommendations?
