I recently got to create with an artist I've been admiring for a few years now! I remember early in my days of following her, a photographer shared one of her images with me and told me how much she reminded him of me. Such a compliment!

Ava is a talented model and photographer and vintage thrifter (she has such amazing finds!). I had worked with her husband, Uriah, two other times and  had the pleasure of meeting her then before they sold their home to travel Europe. Now, back in America and in a new apartment, Ava messaged me asking if I wanted to come up and work on a conceptual project she was brainstorming; of course, I said yes. She asked if I had nude colored garments to wear and if I would be okay being painted and using flour; once again, yes! This project of hers was inspired by Norse folklore, the practice Seidr, and journeying to the underworld.🖤 I am completely obsessed with how these shots turned out. Ava's coloring and tones in her work are always so moody and natural. I love looking at other's work and trying to see how they achieved the look that they did. I'm so inspired by everyone around me.

Side note: I am definitely going to plan a day to come back to this location for my own photos! It was such a gorgeous spot.
