Photo-a-Day | Effy (Patreon)

A few days prior to getting sick from COVID, I was actually able to hire a model for some work! I was commissioned some weeks back by a musician to create imagery for his upcoming album; he wanted a photo for every song, so 10-13 images or so. He left the concepts and artistry entirely up to me, which was mildly intimidating, but it was pretty cool getting to brainstorm for someone else and hire other creatives in the process. 

I told Effy I would make sure she gets some edits to use for herself, as this was our first time meeting and we had wanted to collaborate for some time now. These are two shots that I won't be submitting for the album, but I think they're beautiful. The first image really highlights her wardrobe, too, which was entirely constructed and designed by her! How cool is that?

I'm going to go finish up another edit for the project here soon. Getting sick really set me back in that regard. I wanted to wrap this up weeks ago. 

Oh well - photoshop has some cool new effects I'm discovering, but I had to use an outdated version so a bit so maybe I'm just late to the game. I still need to get 2021! Anyone here using it?
