Content

Well, the download is being slow as heck, but I'll get to writing this anyway so I can post it as soon as it's done. Overall, I'm actually surprisingly happy with this build, despite it only have 12 new scenes. Part of that is because 10 of those 12 scenes are at least medium length, so they probably represent more total content than the 15 from last month did. However, a bigger portion is actually the complexity I've been managing to build into the Rogue/Thief Guild quests. I'm much happier with how this quest line is turning out than I have been with the Mage quest line. This second Thieves Guild quest is easily as complex as the first was, perhaps even a bit more so actually! Enough so that finding everything may actually require the walkthrough ;-). Though, probably not, if you just logic your way through the various ways and combinations.

As for the actual content of the build...it's pretty much pure Thieves Guild ques line expansion. 11 of the twelve scenes are connected to that in some way, the last having been something of an incidental/accidental occurrence. I also, however, have a couple of warnings to issue. The first is that you'll probably notice that the new visuals aren't quite as polished as some of the old ones. Not that 'polished' has ever been a good word to use, to be honest. As for the reason why? Simply put, a lot of the incremental tweaks I've added over the last 10+ months of development were wiped out when I had to rebuild Skyrim. There's no helping that, I'm afraid, and things like that are one of the many reasons I've long since decided using Skyrim was honestly a terrible idea. I'm stuck with it now, obviously, but I certainly won't be considering doing another game using it as assets.

The second things to warn you about is that the testing on this was...less than rigorous. That's not to say I didn't do the best job I could in a limited time frame! All twelve scenes have been tested to make sure they work, as have the transitions between them. The issue was that, much like when I was faced with trying to test the Thieves Guild Escape minigame, there were too many possible combinations to test ALL of them the way I'd have liked to. As such, I'm EXPECTING a few bugs. If you run into any, PLEASE REPORT THEM. Of course, I've also removed quite a few old bugs...and hopefully finally killed the bugs with the Hope's Rest Blacksmith. Though, as I've been utterly unable to trigger than error myself, I can't test to see if my fix there worked...

Now, enough rambling! On to the Links and release notes!

Workaround Version:

Note, this version is for those that can't get other versions to work for one reason or another. It is, essentially, just the browser version from the Web Build, made downloadable. Chastity Quest Build 8 Release Notes

This build focused on adding the second quest to the Thieves Guild questline, along with some consequences for finishing it. 11 of the 12 scenes added were in some way connected to the questline, with the 12th being a new option in the Mage's Guild.

Thieves Guild Quest 2: Once you've finished the first quest, returning to the Guildmaster's Office will not start a new quest! This quest will take very different paths, depending on your choice of how you solved the first quest in the chain!

Quest Consequences: This quest has consequences for more than just you! Depending on how you solve the quest(s), New Landing might experience a few changes to is punishment system...and certain NPCs may have their lives uprooted and changed drastically. Which, just so happens to mean your encounters with them might change too...

New Mage Guild Encounter: If you've helped Tylan with her little project, there's a new encounter added to the list of your options!

Others Stuff

-Credits Updated!

- I may have finally squished the Blacksmith Black Screen bug. Possibly. As I've never been able to replicate the bug on my system, I can only hope that the changes and rewrites to that area's code I made fixed it.

-You can no longer adventurer with Seesha in Hope's Rest, if your armor is broken.

-If Seesha puts your belt back on you after a drinking spree with her, it should actually be back on when the scene finishes.

-You can no longer ask for help getting off at the Magic Shop if you're not belted.

- Other minor bugs and typos fixed/squished.
