Follow-up Game Concept - DoL: Dungeon Master Edition (Patreon)
Content
Okay, this post was supposed to be up yesterday, and this time the fact that it wasn't isn't even my fault! When I went to post this last night, Patreon itself was completely down, giving me an Internal Server error no matter what I did -_-. Anyway...here's the last of three game concepts! Of course, this one should look the most familiar, since most of you likely read the post about it last month. Well...maybe not, since only about a third of you voted in that poll...
At any rate, this is the most direct follow-up of the three games.
The Dungeon of Lewdity: Dungeon Master Edition
The Dungeon of Lewdity has an intelligence of its own...but that intelligence can't run everything! Inside the sprawling, complex edifice of The Dungeon, there are hundreds of challenge rooms, a dozen full-scale villages, marketplaces, arenas, and so much more. Of course a single magical intelligence, no matter how powerful, can't keep track of everything! And so...the Dungen Masters were created. Mortal managers who've been invested with the power to look after a section of the dungeon, arranging rooms for the delivers who fall within their area of expertise.
You are one of these Dungeon Masters. It's your job to help train any delver assigned to your section of The Dungeon. You have a lot of freedom of choice given to you, about which way you want to train any specific delver...but beware trying to do to many unconnected things with each delver! For if you fail to train them in one path or another...you might find yourself in a tight spot of your own, as The Dungeon expresses it's displeasure with your efforts...
Gameplay:
Much like the original The Dungeon of Lewdity game, content for the Dungeon Master edition will be split into multiple themed paths. Instead of a single delver progressing through path options, however, the choice of paths will be given to you in the form of choosing which Dungeon Master or Mistress you play as at the beginning of the game. Each Dungeon Master/Mistress will have a specialty, such as pet play training, bondage, transformations, and so on.
Once you've picked a Dungeon Master/Mistress, you'll be put in charge of their area of expertise and given a series of delvers to choose rooms for. Each delver will, in turn, have roughly three different ways they can be trained. Choosing a way to train them will consist of selecting rooms suitable. In example, if you choose to play as a Dungeon Mistress focused on pet play content, your first delver might be a human girl that can be trained as either a Pony Girl, a Dog Girl, or a Cat Girl. You'll be given a dozen rooms or so to choose from (much smaller rooms than the original DoL, obviously), and need to pick out which ones will build her toward your choice of end for her. Selecting the right rooms will result in a success(and a reward), selecting too many incompatible rooms will result in failure (and punishment).
Rooms, as mentioned, will be smaller. This is both in order to allow a larger number to choose from...and because you aren't choosing the methods the delver solves a puzzle by, as you aren't playing as the delver :-p. The last thing of note is that Dungeon Masters/Mistresses will be of different genders and species, so the game will allow you to play as either gender.
Art/Game Engine:
Like the original DoL, this game engine will be TWINE. Also like DoL, this game will use Art Assets from around the web (properly credited where possible, of course, just like with the original game). While this isn't an ideal solution...it's the only practical one for the sheer ridiculous variety of content types!
