Can't imagine a Street Fighter fan who doesn't have a soft spot for Chun Li. Personally I think it's because Capcom managed to craft a character that somehow came off as both strong and adorable at the same time. It was all in her original victory poses from her debut game, Street Fighter 2. You'd win one fight as her and see her bow her head humbly at the victory, only to see her hop up and down and giggle the next time she won. It wasn't a lot to go on, but it was enough for players to fill in the gaps with their imagination.

I'm a huge fan of the Street Fighter series, though I skipped the most recent entry, Street Fighter 5, because I didn't want to encourage the very shady practice of releasing unfinished games at full price with my money. Thankfully it looks as though Capcom learned their lesson, (or at least learned they can't pull that kind of crap and still reach their sales projections) so I'll be looking forward to Street Fighter 6 and hoping for the best.

The Street Fighter comics have always been great quality, and unlike the games I feel like I'm supporting a company that gives me what it promises. And the recent Darkstalkers vs Street Fighter run is basically pure cheesecake with plenty of sexy Morrigan, Lilith, and Chunners shots. I'd recommend it if you're at all into comics.

Hey cool thanks for the heads up! I'll keep an eye out for them online. :)

juri is my fave street fighter girl chung lee i am kind of indifferent to

AWWWWWWWWWWWWW, YEAH!! I was hoping you'd take these as suggestions :). "Chun-Li's a BABE" my best friend's older brother said, as I watched someone play SFII for the first time. And indeed, she was. What's funny is that the early vision was merely "kinda thigh-heavy". SF III made them HUGE. And SFIV increased them EVEN MORE. By SF V, she's basically a muscle-goddess with thighs of redwoods. And it is SO AWESOME. So I appreciate you changing your usual body-dynamic by focusing on meaty, muscular thighs here- they're noticeably larger than what you normally draw (to fit your preference for boobie-girls with smaller frames). They're still, like, half the size of SFV Chun-Li's thighs, but those would probably look weird on a style as semi-realistic as yours :). I'm also digging the see-through tights look, here- not something I'm normally into, but it works.

I like the SF2 Chun-Li. And I love what you've done with her leggings :)

Reinbach

You know I skipped the SF4 upgrades so I think the only time I've ever played as Juri was in Street Fighter X Tekken. She was pretty cool.

Reinbach

Yeah I didn't think the crazy exaggerated thighs would really work in my style either, though I'm glad the thickness I did add was enough to be noticable. :)

I have never played Street Fighter, i liked more Soul Calibur and Bloody Roar (which is my personal favorite). I played SFV for a while and i liked it, but to be honest, i didn't engage me... still, i really like the art behind the game (and the saga)... specially the cómics. As i don't know much of the story, i just enjoy the desings of the female fighters, being my favorites Juri, Karin, Ibuki, Cammy, Laura, Decarpe, Poison ('female') and Chun-Li... Here i like how you drew her, with a innocent but playfull expression :D

Reinbach

Hey glad you like her look! As for fighting games I'm a big Soul Caliber fan myself, but I think my favorite series would have to be Dead or Alive. And not just for the tits, though they don't hurt.

peyfo

she looks gorgeous! great job. i've always liked chun li for years but i've never been able to be good with her in all her appearances across tons of games@_@

David

Glad to read that you're a fan of Soul Calibur. Too bad the recent games are not that good... As for dead or alive, i truly believe it is a game that goes far beyond the tits (wich are good)... the last installment does have great mechanics and is fun to play... the only thing i dislike is the bazillion costume dlcs... they're TOO expensive!

Bob Fink

Now those are some tight pants, sure its not paint? Nice position btw :D

Reinbach

Let's go with paint, at least for my version here lol, makes a lot more sense that way.

Reinbach

I'm not so great with her myself, too many of her moves involve holding down a direction first, and when I'm fighting a human opponent they seem to see those moves coming a mile away.

DOA is that odd thing where the game is pretty well-designed, but they went so far over the top with fanservice that it became the only thing anyone talks about with the games. Capcom at least made sure to make their games fantastic, THEN pulled out the fanservice for later installments :). It was SFIV before they really went over the top.
