The grand finale! This series turned out to be quite a pleasant surprise. It offered an opportunity to explore the finer details that Diamond Dave and Answer might have missed. The way it incorporated the blip and delved into its effects on the world was impressive.

One notable achievement of this series was the substantial character development it provided for both Sam and Bucky. Their journeys and personal growth were captivating to witness.

As the series wrapped up, it left us with intriguing cliffhangers, promising potential stories to be told in the future. All in all, it was a solid series that managed to strike a chord and left us eager for some stories to continue.

Eric Wallace

Steve rodgers is America at its best, without blemishes, John Walker is America as it is with its ugly side laid bare along with the good, and Sam wilson is America at what it can be while acknowledging its blemishes

I think it's helpful to look at Sam's behavior with Karli as a parallel to Steve's behavior with Bucky at the end of CA: Winter Soldier. Though for different reasons, they were both trying to get through to a super soldier and both were willing to put their life on the line to save them. Remember Steve refused to fight Bucky, letting himself be nearly killed, to try to help Bucky remember. Steve fell from the airship after the fight would have drowned but it finally clicked for Bucky enough for him to save Steve. I don't know if Karli would have gone for a kill shot. She was immediately remorseful indicating something was getting through. Also had John Walker not interrupted chances are he would have gotten through to Karli before. The show does a lot of parallels with Steve Rogers that I think were meant to reinforce the idea that Sam was the true Capitan America in spirit because he possessed the same heart as Steve which was the thing that made him the right fit for the job. One more thing, in the first Captain America movie, the military was determined to have the first Cap be an elite soldier who was not scrawny Steve. The creator of the serum wanted Steve though because, although he was not strong in body, he had the right heart and therefore was the one who could correctly and responsibly wield its power. The power of the serum only makes you more of who you are. In TFAWS we got to see what would have happened if the military got their way. Real Cap has always been about the man with the right heart managing immense power. Sam had that right heart too and was given power in a different way.

Loved the reaction y'all. ☝️ after my first time rewatching with y'all, I just had to look around and do sum research. I find it interesting how sam never takes the serum in the comics?? Like you out here no serum, raw dogging fights with your own strength??? Love that for him. I actually liked this show, it was pretty good to me as a casual mcu fan . John Walker is in fact in the comics but I do nawt know much about him , I wonder if they'll give him an individual series. Nawt Sharon moving like this ..Peggy would whoop ha if she was alive and she knew. I loved the Agent Carter series, it was super good. Still mad it got cancelled
