What a wild finish this was. In the Firelights hideout, Vi and Caitlyn are captive and tensions rise as they argue about revealing secrets. Vi meets Ekko, the leader, who questions her allegiance. Despite their differences, Vi manages to free herself and embraces Ekko. Meanwhile, at the lab, Viktor consults with Singed about Hexcore and faces a dilemma. Jayce, troubled by his actions, receives support from Medarda. Silco faces concerns from Sevika, while Jinx grapples with her own internal struggles.

Vi discovers Ekko's settlement, but conflicts escalate in the bridge. Silco asserts control over the Chem barons, and Medarda receives an important message. Caitlyn and Ekko contemplate their next steps and the potential for an alliance. Viktor and Mel consider building their own weapons, while Jayce contemplates a significant decision. Viktor undergoes a transformation, and the group prepares to confront Silco. The bridge encounter leads to a dramatic confrontation involving Marcus, Caitlyn, Jinx, and Ekko.

As the clash continues, Jinx's anger escalates, but Ekko intervenes to protect Caitlyn and Vi. The explosive encounter leaves Vi shocked, and the aftermath reveals the impact of the battle. Can't WAIT for episode 8!!!!!

Ah haunting parallel is that the song Jinx was humming when she crosses the bridge is the same one she did in episode 1

To answer your questions about how Caitlyn survived: When we see Marcus on the ground as he is dying, if you look closely his left side of his face is all messed up and he is missing that arm. So I assume at some point either right before the explosion, he flinches the gun towards himself. As for Caitlyn, once she saw Marcus was distracted she dropped out of the way of his gun. I went back and watched the replay, when we get the close up of the bomb right before it explodes, we don't see Caitlyn in the background.

I absolutely love the Echo and Jinx music portion with the clock, so creative and cool! Sad there's only two left, but it's gonna be fun :)

What I love about this series is how there isn't a specific good or bad side per say. Every character has their goals and ambition, and is ready to fight for what they believe. And the way the producers made every character to seeem RIGHT in their decision is mind blowing. As the audience, we can't even hate any of the characters for what they are doing. I think this is why we get so invested in the storyline. Gosh, I can't wait for you guys to see what's coming. It only gets better and more intense.

Lirryk

yeah i love these parallels...they do a lot like them <3

I was really happy to see Ekko, and I loved the scene with Ekko and Vi. Jinx is incredible. I can't wait for episode 8.

I recommend you guys check out the full Enemy Music Video since it showcases some more of Ekko and Jinx as children. Well, its just a cool video generally too.

Ekko and his group are called the firelights fyi. Also the way I interpreted the explosions on the bridge was that they were extremely concentrated bc of how small the firelights were. Marcus and the soldiers were shown to have them on themselves and they all died but caitlyn didnt. Oak will be pumped for the next episode, imo it has the best action of the whole series.

If you guys don't want any type of spoilers i recomend you to not look at any content from the game. Don't even google the characters hahaha The game takes time in the future so you'll see their final forms. Although Arcane is not part of the game canon. Is thought as a separe story. There are hundreds of characters (some of them have been teased in the series) with amazing stories. Depending on the storyline they can have totally different worlds. This is very cool, because even for the players this is a totally new story.

As others have pointed out the Music video for "Enemy" give a bit more of context for the Ekko-Powder relationship which shows how close they were as the children of the same age in the band. To me this makes the fight scene so much more impactful... There is actually a 10mn video dissecting only the last part of the fight where they just look at each other before Jinx decides to pull out a grenade. There is just so much said in the looks of those two : the rage, the pain, the hesitation, the resignation, the proposal for a "double su*c*de". Its just the best visual story telling and animation i've ever seen

Yall gotta remember mental health does alot to people. At some point you give up. How many times can powder get left by vi. Also go back marcus was missing an arm XD

I don't think Silco was messing with Jinx. He seems like a traumatized person who is terrified of losing his daughter. Also he doesn't store shimmer in his eye, he has a build up from "the river toxins eating through your nerves" from his fight with Vander. He seems to puncture his eye to release the build up.

Yep they are essentially telling original stories of how some characters from the game ended up being like how they are in the game. It's all original story that stands on its own, but the ultimate end-goal is for them to end up like the respective characters in league of legends. Basically the origin stories of a bunch of cool video game characters thrown together into a really interesting story.

I think a point that a lot of people miss in the scene with Viktor and Jayce when the grenade is about to go off is that Viktor isn't trying to guess which wire to cut. He knows exactly which wire to cut, his hesitation was whether to do it or not. He knows that Jayce is getting swayed to consider building weapons with Hextech, something Viktor is vehemently opposed to, and he also knows that the only people with the knowledge to do so are there in that room. Therefore, he considers whether to prevent it altogether by letting the grenade detonate, but ultimately choses not to. Which is why he follows up with "there is always a choice."

1 thing amongst many, that Arcane does perfectly, is building suspense for next episodes. Lot of series does it between seasons, Arcane does it between episodes and I love it. It keeps people, who dont have knowledge about background in League of Legends lore, interested in the series.

Enemy mv does contain a tiny 1 second spoiler that gets cleared up next ep. 99% of people have no idea what I'm talking about when I bring this up (its that minor) so view at your own discretion

bits

One cool little easter egg .. Ekko's current mask is hanging in Benzo's shop when Ekko was a kid. Nice continuity!

bits

Yes exactly, I love that moment and I love Viktor!

Rabbid Dawg

Like....does it have to do with eyes? I know you're saying it's minor but that's.......negligible. I think the guys mightve mentioned the possibility of something like that happening anyway lol. (Sorry for keeping it really vague.)There's also fishbones too that I figured might be a bigger spoiler, but I don't think that's much of a one. Curious to know if I'm correct at what you're hinting though!

Ana

Yaaay this is my fav episode
