Y'all that ending.... WOW. Billy and the team discover that Translucent is still alive. They form a plan to kill him before he can warn the other supers. Meanwhile, Starlight's PR opportunity goes awry, and Homelander confronts The Deep over a betrayal. Hughie confronts Translucent..... He sure did! The episode combines action, drama, and humor, while revealing cracks in the facade of the Seven. Overall, it's another compelling and well-written installment of The Boys.

Just answering one of the last questions, it is a comic :)

This show is based on a comic series. 'The Boys' by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson was first published in 2006.

You guys might also like 'HAPPY!'. It is a short 2 season series based on a comic Robertson also worked on. The show has a similar feel to this one mixed with more Deadpool-esque shenanigans.

This is based on a comic but the writer Garth Ennis hated superhero’s (except for punisher which he wrote some great comics for)so he just has parodies of dc and marvel charchters Doing fd up stuff and just making fun of superheroes while the show is more a satire on the superhero genre like scream was while still having great charchter and realstic take on superheroes which is my favorite part of the show

Rockstar

It's satire to the US. Superheroes is just what is needed to make americans interested. It's hilarious that they miss the point though. The irony is what makes the show good. "LOOK AT THE SUPERHEROES DOING WILD STUFF!" Meanwhile the show is constantly portraying the corrupt and ignorant people of the country, who are distracted by entertainment and celebrities (Heroes) It's so hilarious and depressing at the same time.

To Oak's point about how Supes generate revenue: remember the last episode where a mid-tier Supe was being negotiated as Baltimore's exclusive hero to the tune of $200-300 million. Think of the Supes like contracted professional athletes, way more money involved that just merchandise. These aren't your DC/Marvel style heroes who do what they do on principle, these are corporate Supes. This is also the struggle Starlight has been facing these last 2 episodes.

I'm so happy I can take this journey with you guys! I love The Boys and I love your reactions so this is just a perfect match lol

The "keep your hands clean" IMO was him struggling with killing someone for the first time. He was already in too deep and couldn't leave so he was trying to come to terms with having someone's "blood on his hands." Then of course the imagery of the kid covered in spaghetti and sauce and him covered in guts and blood also kinda shows how that scene was foreshadowed.
