to answer the question at the end, this season is pretty much a 1:1 adaptation of the comics, some events are more fleshed out (like the Guardians Scene at the end of Ep1) and some events are shifted around in the timeline, but nothing too significant. Kirkman has said he intends for this to be as 1:1 as possible which is very exciting, the comic run is top notch Also, not sure if y'all picked it up at the end but Monster Girl is the same VA as Azula from ATLA

Fun fact: the voice actor for the Demon Detective is the underrated Clancy Brown. You guys might know him as Captain Hadley from The Shawshank Redemption, but he is also the voice of Mr Krabs from Spongebob.

Lois Lane is a normal woman & she understands the life, so could Amber.

Lake view terrace is one of the rarer ones that portray a white guy with a black woman, if you havent seen that yet. Good movie too imo

Found the american. The reason there aren't that many movies like this in the US is because they profit too much from the racism civil war going on. What if you actually turned the attention to the people causing it? Comments like yours make me SO SAD! I mean, I'm an American and I agree. You look at Amber and you focus on her skin color and think she should be with Mark because of that. I look at Amber and focus on who she is as a person, find that person to be lacking in several key areas, and come to the conclusion that she shouldn't be with Mark because of that. Whenever you look at someone as a skin color, that's racism coming into effect. Identifying with skin color is no different than identifying with hair color or eye color. If you do the former, then you should be doing the latter too. Otherwise it's hypocritical. I'm saying all of this as a Latino, by the way, so I don't want to hear about how I'm a racist white person.

Her color wasn’t the only reason I wanted them to be together, which is why the immediate condescension & assumptions aren’t necessary, you can simply ask if there’s any other reason I like them together. Amber is a confident, strong willed woman who, imo without spoiling anything for the guys, supportive woman who would be a good balance for Mark. Her being black is just a really nice representation bonus. Eve is cool as well, she also has a lot going on with Rex that would naturally push her towards the nice guy she’s going to be spending a lot of time with and can share that major part of their lives with, which is why I said I wouldn’t be mad or surprised they’d be together. I haven’t read the comics, so it’ll be nice watching it all play out. I’m rooting for Amber, but my comment wasn’t meant to be perceived as the only reason or as an inability to look beyond someone’s skin, it’s what popped in my head because it’s something that stood out when I first watched it because it isn’t shown a lot and I enjoyed that. Idc what color you are, it’s easy to be dismissive and keep rose colored glasses on if you can’t stop to put yourself in the shoes of someone else to see how they might view things from their seat. It might be such a small & insignificant thing to some because it’s simply not part of their reality, it has no impact on them or loved ones so they can’t step outside that box. I’ll leave this alone though cause my comment wasn’t meant to be taken the way it was & I don’t want their comment section to take a serious left turn lol.
