the chronicles of narnia are the books that opened the doors to tolkien, sapkowski and so many others, they will always have a special place for me. I don't know if they had already commented on it, but the witch's food causes an addiction, almost a drug, and that's why Ed just wants to go back to her and her food. I am absolutely amazed that none of you read the book when you were young, this is my second favourite book of all time (The Stand is first) ~ I’m not sure which I prefer Potter or Narnia, I have both series on audio format and find them comforting to listen as they are so familiar to me.

My sister and I powered through the books as kids. They are much shorter than HP, so it was easier to read.
