Dave, actually you're really not missing much if any for easter eggs. Part of what makes the show so great is it stands on its own independent of the game itself. It uses the lore yes, but any easter eggs are just quiet trinkets or symbols that are blink and you miss it. In fact, they've changed some bits of lore to fit the show cause its better written!

This show is just next level good. I saw how expensive these two seasons have been and it's understandable they wanted to keep this story to 2 seasons. I would pay more to see more in this universe and this style. It's just incredible.

The game League of Legends actually has tons of lore/backstory to their characters and world. I am not knowledgeable on all the lore since there is too much for me to care about, but I recall multiple events from S1 and S2 having a basis in the lore or to the actual game. Don't think they try to force the original story too hard but there certainly are a lot of references for League players to enjoy.

wdym? they changed the lore slightly, but these are the origin stories of some of LoLs champions, this lore always was there and well known by many people.
