In regards to the name they call it the "euthanization" plan, its named that is in regards to the Eldian race as a whole, they sterilize everyone which means they will slowly die out naturally hence being euthanized

I'm so excited to see if ya'll react to the opening or not that I'm not even going to wait until I get home to watch. Work can wait lol Edit: you did listen to it! Hell yeah. It's completely understandable to be too distracted by all the Levi craziness to not be able to fully appreciate the song. Luckily ya'll have the rest of the season to get to enjoy it, but now ya'll know why we all love this one so much. It's the best opening by far. Also, shout out to Armin for being a good friend and sticking with Eren through thick and thin. He knows his best friend and suspects that Eren has some plan and that's enough for him to stick with him.

yes the euthanization thing is a mistranslation on the subs, honestly doesnt help when the translation/tranliteration quality sucks sometimes

The thing is, you're really reaching for that interpretation. Euthanization is an immediate process. It literally means to end someone or something's life in order to prevent prolonged suffering. If they're letting them die out slowly, it's literally the opposite of euthanization. It's fine to just admit that they used the wrong word.

So in regards to Levi and giving him some titan serum, it wouldn't help since only those with Eldian blood can turn into titans, Levi isn't an Eldian he is an Ackermann, besides Ackermann's have their own power that I'd say makes them more powerful than a titan.

The euthanization term drove me crazy too! And strangely they also used that word in the dub- probably to stay true to the direct translation. But it should be absolutely be sterilization. Loving your reactions guys! Can't wait for this final stretch, it's epic 💗

One thing I enjoy that Quinn said is, "I don't know who to trust anymore...who's side should I be on?" If you're feeling that way...good. Let me pose a question; Who is bad in war? The soldiers who fight for each of their lives? Or is it the people who force them to do so? There is no good and evil in war. that is why It's hard to really know who is in the right here. Since, there really isnt from the perspective of a soldier. That’s why the quotes, “Get up and fight!” And “Someone has to stain their hands…” so much in the show. Your friends don’t want you to die, so someone has to become the villain for the greater good of your loved ones and personal morals.
