I had the chance to go see this movie in 4DX and now I don’t think I’ll ever have such an experience again. It really made you FEEL with the characters since you yourself are powerless to the chairs near on yeeting you to the floor. Cant wait to see yall react :3

slavicandsapphic

Overpasses are the worst in tornadoes because they become wind tunnels. So instead of it being a safe space, you are in a wind tunnel of 200+ mph. And considering player cards become knives in tornadoes, you are taking a GAMBLE

I watched this in 4DX and it was like a 2 hour roller coaser 🤣 it was super fun though!

Kirstine Aaen

I can’t wait to watch your reaction to this one! I watched Twisters for the first time last night, and then again this morning because I couldn’t help myself. And I am SORRY but Glen Powell is a seriously sexy dude…

Kaley

Love how you all went full cowboy for this film! A fun time!

Stephanie

So excited to watch it with you. 😁 I saw it in theatres and really enjoyed. I love it as much as Twister and I think Glen Powell has a lot to do with it. 😏😅😊

Danna Radilla

I saw this movie twice at theaters, new comfort movie. For Mason Quinn, I found the comment of what else can he do be an astronaut so funny because Glen Powell has play an astronaut already at the movie Hidden Figures and he is good on that one too, and it is a good movie to add to the list!

Alexiani Gollarza

Just half way through the review, and yes Diamond Dave, there are some scenes here that are similar to the original movie, my mom and I noticed them while watching it with you

Alexiani Gollarza

OH MY GOD YES!!!! hahahahahahhaha they need to see that faster now and we will make him remember this moment lol

Stephanie

I have no problem with four (three and a half) dudes simping over Glen Powell. 😏😜 Btw, he is a real pilot now. Tom Cruise and shooting Top Gun Maverick inspired him to take flying lessons and he got his license in 2020.

Stephanie

I'm big fan of the original. I can't count, how many times I've watched it. But I feel like the emotional impact was heavier on this one,  because we were constantly confronted with the trauma and the loss Kate felt. Besides that there were more deaths and more scenes of the aftermath of such natural disasters. Regarding the cheese, I think this movie has way more quality than a walmart christmas movie.😄 All in all, great reaction and discussion guys. Had a lot of fun watching it with you. And thanks Oak for the words about some people being too nitpicky because of nostalgia. Read a lot of hate comments on YouTube, that were really unfair.

Kirstine Aaen

A stormchasing, bullriding, brave, smart, handsome, advice-giving stud who looks great in a wet t-shirt - and has the strongest left ankle in the history of mankind. You gotta love it.

Dee

Seeing Andre Nowzick was the highlight of this movie for me🤣🤣. Hope you accomplish your dream of storm chasing Dave. Be sure to live stream it! Lol

Jordan

As a meteorologist (college) and occasional storm chaser: This film felt miles better than the original, but not as classic or as endearing as the original. The creators put a lot of heart into Twisters. It feels just like actual storm chasing, even more so with 4DX, but they captured the *vibes* of storm chasing perfectly. This movie took inspiration from real life in almost every scene with references to viral tornado photos / events, such as the Mayfield, KY movie theater photo and the EF5 in El Reño. Tyler was a basically a carbon copy of a real life tornado chaser. And yes the truck drills are a thing, but wouldn't hold in a mildly strong tornado. The science overall; while not perfect, was way more accurate than the original Twister. And the precautions are all pretty accurate to real life, especially the overpass scene. (Ignore the Sodium Polyacralate and how the storm collapsed stuff).

Scott Bringel

Simple story but such a badass movie. Never even saw the first.

BlueJean452

Fun fact. The actor who played the hotel guest that got taken out by the tornado when he tried to drive off with his girlfriend is James Paxton, Bill Paxton’s son. Also, I tend to have a lot of differing opinions from Diamond Dave but I’ll stand with him on this one. Flaming Hot Cheetos are trash. ✊🏻😂

Jeremy Burch

I thought this was great, I love the original, but I also really enjoyed this one. I thought Glen Powell was great, I also think Daisy Edgar-Jones was great as well, I would recommend the movie Where the Crawdads Sing and the TV show Under the Banner of Heaven, which also had Andrew Garfield in it.

MateoP

Wow crazy how directors that know their audience and extras shit could make a movie everyone likes 8/10😁💯😆

Jordan

I have not, I’ve been close several times, but every time they’ve ended up becoming rain wrapped / inaccessible from roads

Emilysr97

I enjoyed watching this movie in theaters! I recommend watching Dante's Peak (1997) which is another natural disaster film

C. J. Ramirez

Only thing I dislike about this movie is they make javis trauma overlooked like he didn’t lose 3 friends too

I had to stop watching. You guys do such a piss poor job of paying attention and you are yapping through the whole thing. For people who are pulling in 380,000 per year on patreon I would expect better respect for your audience.

Badd Medicine

Can you share how we are supposed to do a reaction exactly? Are your expecting for us to just sit there and saying nothing or at a minimum a few words? Saying that we don't respect our members is a big reach here. This Patreon wouldn't be where it's at if we didn't respect them.

Brian Albright

“I can’t believe they are reacting on a reaction Patreon.” You sound like a moron.

Bedinor

I'm not going to write a novel because at the end of the day you're just going to keep doing what you're doing. But read the room, I see multiple comments mentioning the same thing along with hundreds on YouTube, all across different videos. I firmly believe there's a difference between reacting to content, giving a review and being completely negligent and talking over other cast members and the content in question about random topics and over dialogue. But do you really believe this is worth 380k not including youtube profit? Personally, I'm getting weary over it.

Badd Medicine

Cody, some of your recent comments have started to feel more personal than constructive, which is concerning. You’ve mentioned profit a few times, and it seems like that’s become a focus for you. Ultimately, our members decide what they value, and it's up to them whether they stay or move on. When you say we aren’t "reading the room," I have to respectfully disagree. Our community continues to grow both here and on YouTube, which suggests we’re connecting with the majority of our viewers. As for your comments about "hundreds" of people, the format we use—like most reactors—includes a back-and-forth style during YT Cuts, so that point is irrelevant in this context. If the content or format is no longer working for you, I completely understand. It may be best for you to consider canceling your membership if it's no longer aligned with your expectations.

Bedinor

Yeah well you already have my 1 year payment so I guess suffer. You'll be in decline soon enough which will be unfortunate. It truly must follow "ignorance is bliss" if you haven't noticed the decline in quality.

Badd Medicine

Opinions vary 😁. There's up's and downs for not just our platforms, but for everyone's platforms. Nice try on that. No need to suffer, we are more than happy to refund what we can for you.

I'm in my 50's, which means I was like 22/23 when I saw the original in theaters and I thought it was great. And I've rewatched it who knows how many times since. I love it, however, that being said, I think it was more the cast dynamics than the film itself. I mean I was and still am a huge fan of Bill Paxton, Helen Hunt, Jami Gertz, Cary Elwes, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Alan Ruck, the incredible Jeremy Davies.. That chemistry was incredible which I think made the film more incredible. But, I have more fun with this one. The CGI is amazing, the sound amazing, the story actually made sense with even more science than the original and it really showed more of the real side of chasing and of course brought in more dynamics with the youtube channel and them doing it to raise money to help those that lost everything and the other team who didn't go up in a twister half way in, but rather doing it for the shady business of screwing over those that lost everything. For me it was more fun and "grounded". I mean people died throughout this film, towns, businesses, refinery, farms, hotels and rodeo's got demolished in this one. Just seemed a little better with showing the more realistic side of twisters and chasing but with a lot of fun.

Ryan Towell

I follow quite a few Patreon's and they all react and talk during a film. They're a reaction channel. Some I've subscribed to talk throughout the films and go on and on with stuff that has nothing to do with the film they're reacting to, that can be a bit of a turn off and when that happens, I don't watch along to that., However, I have to say for a group of 4 guys Badd Medicine isn't nearly as bad as Bedlinor is saying it is. Yes in the beginning they were chatting a bit but they stopped and got into the film. Wasn't that bad. And I have read some people on on Patreon channels comment that they were trying to watch the film for the first time along and the talking was distracting. Why watch a film for the first time along to a reaction video? I've seen twisters about 4 times now, so I guess that's why the chatting in the beginning didn't bother me so much, I already knew what was going on. But honestly, if you the chatting is to much for you, then move on don't watch along. Some people are way too sensitive. Badd Medicine is probably my favorite to watch along with, they do a great job.

Bedinor

I've seen yhe film multiple times as well. It's a good movie, and the fact they get so talkative, and I don't mean reacting in the moment, but just general chatter, is a silly thing to do in a reaction channel. People expect them to actually watch it, for instance they asked where it took place even though it stated Sapulpa/Oklahoma multiple times. Yes that's nitpicking, however I think if they want to give a valued opinion they should pay attention more. Also, it has nothing to do with sensitivity, though obviously BM got offended, so maybe they are instead, or whoever is their chat liaison. As you said if they stop the chatter during the video maybe I'll give it another go, but their response was quite unprofessional.

Nisha

This was my second watch, and the banter and reaction during and after was probably the most enjoyable for me yet! Naturally funny without even trying! I and a lot of your other members love seeing how you all interact with each other, the film and the audience. Please don’t stop what you’re doing, it’s gotten you this far and I know you guys have always made an effort to improve on both your reaction and gaming channel!

Victoria Hodgdon

I hope y'all will eventually go back and watch the original movie, "Twister", with Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt (and the late, great Phillip Seymore Hoffman).

Steven Warner

“A lot of vehicles will get ya there… but a 4runner will get you back” Wise words from Mason Quinn

Steven Warner

“It’s not gonna be a good movie if you don’t go Kate” 😂😂😂

Steven Warner

1 comment (not complaint) is that the person in Badd Medicine who isnt a first time watch, sometimes gives the camera a look when a first time watch member guesses something kinda assuming that us the audience has seen it before, it kinda gives us spoilers if its our first time watch as well, just wanted to point that out

Steven Warner

Loved this movie, saw the og when i was like 9 and am currently 25, the first one was great for me cuz i was oblivious of real cinema, 4.65/5 answers for me
