BMO TV Merchendise Poll (Patreon)

Today, I have a special post for you. Over the last few months, I have prepared the production of several samples for our first BMO TV Merchandise item. It's a 150x50cm Dakimakura pillow case. It's as tall as my wife, and it has awesome new art for Himari (that will make it into the game eventually).

It's made from two-way tricot, a material made from a combination of polyester, cotton, and spandex. It's moisture-wicking, but more importantly, it's very soft. We've tried it out over the last weeks and can say it has a nice feel. And it's big. It's perfect for a side sleeper like myself. I got three separate suppliers to produce a sample and chose the best one from a quality and cost perspective.

Ah, ChatGPT... such a sweet summer child. Anyway, I plan to produce 100 units of this Himari design pillow case and sell them on Etsy for 34,99€. (+ Shipping, international shipping is going to be 12,99€, will have to make sure though.) You can get your own pillow filling in the correct size from your local Amazon or whatever. It's prized in a way that I won't make much money from this. Producing graphics, samples, production, and shipping costs combine to a higher price than websites like Alibaba make you think they should be at first, and ordering a higher number would decrease this drastically, but I have to start somewhere, and this price point seems to align with the most common Dakimakura prices on the web.

But before I can send out the order, I need to ask you all a very important question:

What do you want the backside to look like? The fully transformed Himari in her "SKIN+"-outfit. Or should we leave that outfit off? I don't think there's a clear rule for Dakmiakuras, but there are both types of them.

There are a few more merchandise items I have in mind that I can't talk about yet, and if this run is successful, we can, of course, also think about pillowcases for the other contestants. But obviously, I'm aware that this is a bit of a risk. I might also just sit on these for a long while. However, I think that having merchandise is also a step for us to manifest the tg tf game community as one that can be taken seriously.

UPDATE

The poll turned out way closer than I expected, so I talked back to the production company, and they agreed to assign the two designs to half of the production capacity each. So you'll be able to buy both designs when they arrive. I also sent out the order today already because I chose the cheapest shipping option. If I order today, the cases are expected to be delivered only in December. Hence, the faster we order it, the faster I can get them to you for the cold holiday season. Feel free to still vote for your favorite design.
