February 2024 (Final!) Tavern LiveKit Server Keys (Patreon)

Thank you to the new and continued patrons who have subscribed for access to our clustered LiveKit server for use with the LiveKit AVClient for FoundryVTT.

Don't worry! The "Final!" in the title isn't because the service is going anywhere. On the contrary, I've just completed the update to finally allow you to log in with your Patreon account for automatic token refreshes instead of needing to enter a new key each time they are updated!

I am providing one final set of keys with a normal expiry period. This is in case anyone wants to wait and test the update before updating your active campaigns.

After updating to the new release of the module (v0.5.23), you'll find a new "Sign in with Patreon" button where you previously entered a key. Simply click that to link your Patreon account, and tokens will be automatically refreshed going forward.

Selecting a Custom server still lets you enter an API key and secret for self-hosted servers.

Beyond that, the testing of Alloy Stream is continuing well! We value any feedback from those who want to try it out, and we'll be showing off some awesome features we've been working on with it soon.

LiveKit has also recently released a major update to its server package. To avoid disruption, I won't be updating the cluster until I have a chance to test it thoroughly. I'll update here and in Discord when that update is complete.
