Hello!

Chris Bratt, who does the excellent People Make Games channel, has a spin-off podcast where he talks to people in the press. And I was very flattered to be his third guest - talking about making videos, what's next for GMTK, and the feelings surrounding reaching a million subs.

You can listen on Apple Podcasts or Spotify or anywhere you can find podcasts. Hope you like it, and I didn't say anything awful or embarrassing!

While I've got you here, in case you missed my last update video - I'm taking August off from work. I'm getting married in 10 days (argh!) and then I'm off for my honeymoon. And so because I'm not actively working on any videos this month (other than conducting an interview for On the Level) I will not be charging Patrons this month.

This will be the first time since the channel started that I won't be releasing a video that month - but I think it's for a good cause!

Thanks for all your support - I'm looking forward to coming back and working on brand new projects. But I'm also looking forward to spending time with my new wife. Argh, again!

Am also getting married this month and don't need your content to distract me, so this came with perfect timing! 😂

Congratulations! I hope you and your partner have a wonderful time. I would also be perfectly happy for you to charge for the month even without videos, as you definitely deserve a break!

I just listened to the podcast on my way to the office (still 15 minutes left for the way home) and so far I like it a lot. I think your views on work, creativity and on challenging yourself are inspiring. And since I've also been trying to learn Unity and game design for the past months I'm really looking forward to the new format. But first and foremost: Have a wonderful wedding and a great honeymoon!
