As some one who grew up well below the poverty line from the mid 80s to the early 90s, GROCERY OUTLET IS AMAZING. Most packaged food is good well beyond the sell/use by date and anything else you just buy a little and use it that day. The one near the low income housing had these packs of shredded jerky that came in containers that looked like chewing tobacco. I miss those
