The episodes are extra special when you’ve all got shared history with a film. Especially an iconic era flick like Batman. Really enjoyed this one.

I didn't see this in theaters (but I did with the sequels), but when I rewatched this movie years ago, it's definitely my favorite of the original Batman series and one of the best Batman movies period. Batman Returns strikes me as more of a Burton movie than a Batman movie, if that makes any sense. Quick notes: Corto Maltese has been used in multiple DC movies and series, including as the setting for The Suicide Squad. Nolan's Batmobile was the Tumbler, not the Rumbler.
