Schedule for the Week of 03/25/2024 (Patreon)

Alex and I got back from Boston and PAX East yesterday and while the trip was awesome, I’m always a mess until I have at least a day to decompress from travel, even for short weekend trips. The show itself was a lot of fun. It was great to gather around friends, fans, and familiar faces during our panel and on the floor. I got to hang out and play some board games, buy some dice for my kids, and not play any video games. Seriously, I don’t think I actually played anything, though I did walk through most of the booths and saw plenty of active kiosks. It sounds corny, but it’s just uplifting to see folks having a good time. I overheard someone say to their friend as they entered the floor “Is this heaven?” to which the friend replied “this might be hell…” I love it.

So, with the knowledge that my brain still needs its decompression day, I’ll be doing some Cyberthon Gaiden streaming while Alex puts the finishing touches on this week’s Watchcast (it was a big one). On Thursday I’ll be out for some of the day, so Brad is going to do some streaming after we record this month’s Planorama (that will be up Friday). Friday we’ve got a Patron’s Choice stream, so look for a poll going up on the Patreon soon. Like I mentioned earlier, The Watchcast is a big one, with a discussion of Tim Burton’s Batman, and all the cultural and cinematic significance it had on us. Also, this week we’ll have The Podcast, Ramblecase, and again, a Planorama so make sure to catch those.
