Subscribed for a month just to say, I've never heard a more misinformed talk than the one about Sweet Baby Inc. Perhaps have a look at how it started? A Sweet Baby Inc employee tried to take down a steam curator and get his steam account taken away. Before that happened, this was a few nutjobs, and then SBI decided to get a bit malicious and got bitten by the Streisand effect. By the way, have you not seen the videos where the leader of SBI says she wants people to 'terrify' (her words) companies into using them and letting them know precisely what would happen if they weren't used? Did you see the video of the former SBI inc employee explaining why she has 21 black employees and refuses to hire white people? They are literally saying that to camera. Is that fine? Look, it's ok to have different opinions, I've listened to you guys for years and I only unsubscribed from here recently because of my finances, but I'm really disappointed that you're this misinformed and just write it all off as another gamergate (that's exactly the narrative they've had to resort to as a defense) and another bunch of CHUDS is massively disingenous. Was your research that one Kotaku article? And you would have the nerve to say that people need to get out of their bubble. Yes, those right wing idiots are right in the thick of it, but they were given this opportunity by SBI employees getting a little bit cocky. The whole thing has been joined by people who have seen those videos of SBI employees and don't like what they see, and if you watched them, would you say 'no that's fine, you're a bigot, please shut up'?

Even if your version of what happened is true (lots of half-truths, omissions, and stretches there), who the fuck cares? If you're whining about this more than any of the other, countless, real problems that are actually hurting people in gaming, get a life.

One person from sweet baby inc gave a talk at GDC about how they are bullying companies to make things more diverse. Forcing people to make different decision. Not asking or consulting, forcing.

James Eldred

Sigh. No they didn't. No one at GDC thought that at the time. No one cared about this until manbabies with no lives took clips out of context. Grow up.
