I literally binge watched this entire series for the first time last week because I was always told it was good and it was the only series of yours that I wasn't watching. I'm stoked for the movie reactions because they are both very emotional and beautiful. 10/10

I’ve seen this show multiple times, and I still shed tears. A show I recommend that’s not sad is Love after World Domination. It’s a Romeo and Juliet type comedy, where a villainess and a hero get together secretly. It’s pretty funny in my opinion. Also there’s the tomboy romance, Tomo-Chan is a girl which is also good. Little to no sadness in these shows, I’m sure you’ll like them

If you don't want a sad show next then I recommend Konosuba to balance things out, 2 seasons 13 episodes each, 1 ova and 1 movie. A prequel is airing right now, you'll die of laughter.

Alana isn't a huge fan of fan service, and as much as i love Konosuba, there is a LOT of it. I'm hesitant to recommend it.

Minor correction: 10 ep in each season. 2 OVAs, each releasing after the end of seasons 1 and 2.

Re:Zero is a gripping show that has a lot to offer aa far as action, adventure, romance, and comedy. It has some amazing characters, highly recommend. It’s one of those shows that is at the top of its genre.

How about something entirely different, like the Love Live! series? I have to say I am impressed with that franchise these days. They keep coming up with new stuff with good characters (and the live shows by the voice actors to go with everything). Love Live! Superstar is the current one.
