in another translation, when Yui says that she loves the club and repeats it, it says "Im in love" implying that she's in love with Hachiman

Btw all the EDs in the series are indeed performed by the two main VAs. Also each season usually in episodes that are important to one of them there are special solo versions with some slightly different visuals like in this episode. The OPs have some subtle changes too sometimes, love little details like that so i wanted to point that out for anyone interested.

The flashback scene scene about Hachiman and Orimoto's interaction in the past is connected to the "I hate nice girls" speech he had in S1 and is the reason why he sometimes seems so cold towards Yui. He's keeping himself from building up expectations that may end up disappointing and hurting him again.

Just for the record without spoiler regarding Hayama Y, there are yukino, yui, Yumiko miura(the blond girl that always with him), and yukinoshita haruno

Hayato this episode was playing a double role, on of his own selfishness and another of knight in shining armour. I feel hayato’s whole agenda was was firstly to make himself feel better about the whole incident with Tobe and Ebina. By calling Hachiman’s ex crush and friend out for being rude and inconsiderate. But why let Hachiman through the whole ordeal and wait till the every end? Is it because we see Haruno and Yukino and Yui all there to witness the great Hayato standing up for what is “right” and showing everyone he is capable of “change”. Whilst this might seem very manipulative I don’t think Hayato intended it to be taken that way. I think he has changed as he was out it planning to challenge the girls from the beginning but he also wanted to show other you should stand up for those you love and care about. -Bicycles-* The use of Bikes has been associated with Yui coming into the forefront of the show, every single time. The bike represents Yui and Hachiman’s relationship in a way. Here we see Hachiman and Yui walking together and Yui declares she will run for Council President, at first Hachiman rights it off as a joke but after showing her determination…. the bike stops… Yui: “It’s my turn to carry the load…” “I am in love with this Club…” “I’m in love….” “Bye-bye Hikki.” Bye to Hachiman? Bye club? Or bye thé relationship? Love twice? So many questions and so much to think about… enjoy the mind racing game! P.s The bike information was brought to my attention from a reddit post. ALANA DON’T READ REDDIT POSTS they tend to have spoilers but others whom have finished the show real interesting points come up. *A reddit post (thedeliriousdonut- Original Post has SPOILERS be aware)

In the conversation between Yui and Hachiman, I believe she implies that she is in love with Hikki. A more accurate translation would be: "I really love this club. I love... it" In English, she should changes to "it" instead of "you" but in Japanese has an open meaning, so basically she almost confesses to Hikki. Also when she said that she's not gonna loose to Yukinoshita, I think she refers to both, the student council election and for the love of Hachiman.

These subtitles weren't the best, kind of left a lot open for interpretation

Skeletan

Yeah, she's using inferior subs. The more widely accepted translations are from MTBB especially when it comes to Oregairu

Lukas

yeah, but Yui makes absolutely no sense so the only real options are Yukino, Haruno and Yumiko
