Fun fact: the screech effect sound when Bocchi was on the floor panicking was not a digital sound effect at all. It was the VA's actual voice.

I know you watched this the first time a while ago but for the ED did you catch that Ryo was the one singing it? When I first watched this ep, i completely missed it cuz I was too focused on the surprise of getting a new ED so quickly

I agree about the backgrounds when they are walking around the neighborhood - it looks so good! The shots are based off the Shimo-kitazawa neighborhood of Tokyo, and they captured the aesthetic very well imo

Speaking of having a unique voice, Ryou's VA, Mizuno Saku is also the VA for Jusetsu aka the Raven Consort in Raven of the Inner Palace. Talk about having a range and two amazing characters in the Fall 2022 season!

Yes please! K-ON! Was one of those shows that changed the whole anime industry in terms of aesthetics and themes, is a must watch if you like SOL and cute girls doing cute things kind of shows. Hibike! Euphonium is also an amazing show indeed (Kumiko's running scene is a masterpiece of animation on its own)

Ah yes, a fellow man of culture. Exactly, without K-On! we never would’ve gotten a show like Bocchi or the many others like it. Also Hibike! Euphonium was made by the same person as K-On!, Naoko Yamada. She is the GOAT of the anime industry.

The real place called SHELTER has been asking people to stay clear esp. of the entryway because all those Bocchi the Rock pilgrims are getting in the way of the bands hauling in the equipment and stuff.

Yesssssss!!!!!!! K-on was the first anime I watched besides the ones when I was a kid like dragonball z. And it got me hooked on anime since! I still listen to a lot of their songs when I'm at the gym lmao.

the places shown in bocchi the rock are actually real places, and the show replicates them almost entirely 1:1, even the small details like cracks in bricks, graffiti, stains, and posters, so thats why the animation looks so realistic.
