Yeah for a lot of ppl Emilia was just meh in s1! She wasn’t bad but she just seemed like your normal sweet/eye candy heroine. I love s2 for giving depth and development to her character! It’s hard to not love all these characters! Even beetlegeuse got some unexpected love!

Season 3 & beyond are gonna make Emilia even more prominent. The next arcs are amazing. As Tappei himself stated in a Q&A from around arc 3 time (season 1), someone asked "it looks like Rem is taking over/being more popular than the heroine" he said "the next 6 arcs will have Emilia as the heroine. Is that a problem?" lol I love how he responded

This was a really well done episode, especially for Emelia's character. Now I'm just taking a deep breath and bracing for what comes next. Wednesday's gonna be fun.
