There's always a dark shadow to the series, like their cavalier attitude to death from the start, the corpse retrievers and the larger backstory of the world we get hints of, it just gets put at front and center her. We've been eating living creatures the whole way here, and now we get to see the reality of being eaten. Eat or be eaten... Dungeon Food. Ah, Dungeon Food!!

This episode really drives home the eat or be eaten ethos of the show. Laios offered his leg up to gain a purchase to Stab the dragon which is just wild. Can't wait for you to see the next episode!
