i loved the ending of this episode!! emilia is growing on me even more and i can't wait for the next one :O

Garf & Otto are amazing characters and a great addition to the cast, didn’t knew I needed them when initially watching Season 1 the first time -The crack you saw when Subaru casted shamak was in his gate that’s why he said thank you after telling his body to survive it bc Felix told him to not cast any magic for 2 months now it’s completely broken -Yes the hands are similar to Betelgeuses since they come from the sloth witch factor that transferred into Subaru when he killed him but he didn’t want to call him unseen hands since he connects them to something evil in his mind -The frozen witch is just a nickname the villagers gave her in the OVA and Emilia was embracing it -Yes Puck is in the barrier crystal now he used to be a stray spirit in the beginning of the ova they didn’t have a contact yet and he was still around it’s just that it took a lot out of him to break the contract so Emilia can remember everything to face her past and that the new crystal wasn’t meant to house a great spirit so it’s unfitting Happy holidays! Glad you enjoyed this episode, can’t wait for you to finish this season

When Subaru used shamac he didn't thank the witch, he said "thank you" to his gate bc he knew that due to the things we saw during S1 and according to everybody else warnings using it again will break it for good which happened right after.

The reason the gemstone stopped Garf's beast form is because Puck was in it, and he used his mana drain ability on Garf (which is why Subaru joked about there being a really hungry cat inside the stone).

loved this episode sm bc of how well they highlighted garfiel’s parallels to subaru from garfiel quitting on himself and trying to run away like how subaru did in s1 to garfiel trying to shoulder everything himself like how subaru did earlier in s2 before he valued himself and trusted in others
