small error i think but ubel was not present when lawine explained the spiegel to the other test takers. and when the clones respond, ubel was the one to suggest that the clones will keep coming unless they destroy the spiegel. did i miss smth?

Without Frieren there, that test definitely would’ve been more relaxed because Sense’s clone would’ve been the one in that room, instead. Ubel would’ve ended it right then and there.

In Manga, Denken managed to explain a bit more, before Ubel told him that she didn't need the details. I think he managed to say that clones will be heading to the bottom of the dungeon. Though of course she could have guessed it on her own.

Coming back to this episode: I love how Ubel's backstory and victory over Sense explains why Frieren knows they can win, and why she wasn't offering very helpful ideas until one thing happened = Fern said she believed she could kill Frieren. Ubel's backstory is also backed up by Sense's statement when they first entered the dungeon, "First class mages make the impossible possible." Frieren was suggesting ways to get around her clone because she didn't think it was worth taking her clone head on until someone, anyone, truly believed they could beat her. Really incredibly done story telling. Always love your vids! And I'm rewatching some backlogs until your next Apothecary Diaries vid comes out.
