Since my last update, in chronological order so the tidbits are first: Hongjoong announced a new photo exhibition in Seoul for his birthday. New this year: The gallery, international fans could get tickets too. They sold out in less than 15 minutes. There is a small fee this time. He didn't like that he was centered for the donation last year so now he and ATINY will donate together. The show is called Walker A, and they will experience random sights while walking around the world. San was on POP (app) and talked about poetry he was reading and read a poem https://x.com/ddakjowa/status/1714397560389918946?s=20 Lee Junyoung invited Jongho and Yunho to the premiere of his new movie ‘Brave Citizen’ so it was a little Imitation cast reunion https://x.com/1024updates/status/1714667765921931314?s=20 King of Masked Singer posted a Jongho compilation video from his appearance last year with English subs https://youtu.be/8XY7byYjVLA?si=gT6xogyn_WmogjFV Pix were posted of half the guys visiting Jongho's fave Paris Saint-Germain, because they clearly only became idols so they could go to the footie stadiums https://x.com/PSG_KR/status/1715054673093374119?s=20 https://x.com/PSG_KR/status/1714684560636862678?s=20 Bouncy is going to be the closing song for the Japanese coverage of NBA Basketball on WOWOW. The Footage posted 2022 London, my show in Anaheim, and this year in Paris ATEEZ Fifth Anniversary! Yay. They were in NY and had schedules, but we haven't seen any of them yet. They posted three 5OTD (in Korean it's like OOTD, outfit of the day) videos that show them celebrating by doing enjoyable things for a day, plus the traditional Anniversary Interview. The live was not done in the Korean time zone but in the American one. More on that later. COMEBACK - THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL will be their second FULL ALBUM! Preorders opened and we have some new entries, including 3 versions of VINYL and an exclusive at Urban Outfitters in addition to Target, B&N, Walmart and Hello82 in the States. The album is very pretty. https://x.com/ATEEZofficial/status/1716983204102676748?s=20 https://ateez.ffm.to/will That's most of the nice news. A bit more plus other news below.

We weren't told until the anniversary date had passed in Korea, but Seonghwa's grandmother passed on the 23rd. He didn't do any of the schedules except the concert. He is *devastated.* He wrote a letter on one of the fan apps and removed his photos. We haven't heard from him since. celine's translation of his letter https://x.com/sandorokis/status/1717838292849410363?s=20 They give us one hour's notice of when the preorders start. People want to be there when they drop for the chance at signed albums. The seven man birthday live suddenly appeared about 20 minutes before. They used a different preorder website, which could not handle the traffic, so most people in the States at least didn't really get to watch. All I remember is hearing the word for rabbit a lot. Concept photos for the comeback started dropping and we eventually got a comeback schedule posted with the words Estrella, Amistad, Historia https://www.instagram.com/ateez_official_/ They did the Immortal Songs Live fiasco/concert in NJ and literally everyone hopes they never sign on to do a show with that promoter ever again. Venue(s), prices, tickets, organization, dumping everything on ATEEZ's shoulders when things were going tits up, bad tech, bad scheduling, severely overran time, didn't fulfill benefits and there was a drone flying around them on stage. They say all the artists were good and did their best but it was a clusterfuck of an event. Couldn't hear during Turbulence, trying to keep time https://x.com/hwaseongss/status/1717790838720233697?s=20 BUT the colab stage was Jongho singing the blues?! with Jannabi and I need more of this please and thank you full song https://youtu.be/dEl4Hx0C9p4?si=_CkumxzmMhHBT1lG&t=87 Fun interview thingy when the guys become stylists A K-Pop Group Styled Me For A Week Feat. ATEEZ https://youtu.be/MJSg1dUP-Q4?si=VZs9G-tkGE4zc3yy Then of course San finally released the dance video he choreographed in colab with BBT and TARZAN. He's been talking about this for, I wanna say around a year? Tiny asked him for a dance cover and we got THIS. I know you don't play League but this is basically the world's most elaborate fan video ever. Here is a photo of Sylas for reference https://pbs.twimg.com/media/F9clfpXaUAELVcz?format=jpg&name=medium World Events Section: Lately the fandom (maybe others, dunno) have been trying to balance comeback rollout with Gaza. The Empire State Building (AKA the tallest atiny) planned to light up for the anniversary, but atiny asked for that to not happen due to them lighting blue and white before, and it was removed from the schedule. My feed is now a very strange combination of death and dancing. We also found out today we lost (at least) one of our own. Her name was Yana. She biased Hongjoong and dreamed of seeing them in concert one day. Now her whole family is gone. https://x.com/Mikasasannnn/status/1718887424229863591?s=20

Again, I'm so envious of your soup making. And all that cauliflower! Cauliflower is two or three times the price here in IL compared to AZ! At least they are in the stores. I really should get myself organized and see what kinds of farmers markets there are around here. Sheesh. The colors of your maple are indeed nifty! What type of maple is it, do you know? I'm sure Autumn would enhance any group she joined ;) Good luck to you both on the auto repairs and the house work - two things that never end as long as you have either. Mmhm, I'm sure Grace believes your apology. Sure she does.... I went to the xikers concert last week! My husband went with me, and said he even had a good time! The venue was the Patio Theater, which is an early 20th century movie theater that has now, throughout a long and winding history, been multipurposed for both live acts and move showings. It seats 1500 people, and was sold out the night of the concert. It was so loud!!! They were kind of blowing out the speakers to try to stay above the volume of the crowd, and from where I was sitting, I still could barely catch the music above the screaming of the crowd. Because we forgot earplugs in the rush to get on the road, I spent a good portion of the 2 hour concert with my hands over my ears. My hearing still didn't recover until about half an hour later. There was a nice mix of demographics in the crowd, though still primarily women in their early twenties. My husband was able to do a rough survey of people leaving while I was in the restroom after the show and he guestimates about 10% of the people who passed while he was standing there were men, most of whom looked like they enjoyed themselves. About the show: I had a great time! The guys did a fantastic job, especially since this would have been only their second full solo performance, and you could see that they were a bit tired. It was great to see everyone so enthusiastic. The crowd sang the lyrics along with the guys, even some of the Korean lyrics (though I doubt very well, lol..). Being a small venue, the stage was simple, but the light show was still really flashy. xikers performed, with choreo, every song of their discography as well as some compilations of covers (NCT 127, BTS, Black Pink, Fifty Fifty.. ugh, I can't remember, I'm sick and it was a week ago). I think the venue was really too small for the size and enthusiasm of the crowd; I wonder if KQ will book a larger theater or concert hall next time, or try multiple nights at this venue size? For me and my long-suffering husband, our trip went mostly well! We drove up and back, without stopping for anything beyond a few pit stops on the 200 mile drive because we didn't want to leave the dogs alone for any longer than necessary. About halfway to Chicago, the driver's side window lifting mechanism broke, dropping the window down inside the door. After some debate, we eventually decided to carry on, and had some fun speculating about which car to use the insurance money on if our trusty 8 year old paid-off Fiat got stolen. But no, when we emerged from the concert, our car -- parked on the street at night, one window down -- was completely unmolested. No one even took the stereo, which my husband has been complaining about since he installed it half a year ago. And other than the window, our little car made the trip quite well! And the dogs were fine when we got back at just past midnight 💖 However, by Thursday my husband was definitely coming down with a cold or flu, and by Saturday he'd given it to me as well. We're still both sick -- but it was worth it. Generally, two thumbs up for the experience!

I don't know the specific type of maple, no. Not a red maple; that's about all I know. It would be really cool to go to a concert of 1500 people. I've never been to one that size. It's always been either really small local community (read really mellow as well) events or big stadiums. Earplugs are a must at those concerts. Or maybe we're just old. And actually, ten percent men is not too shabby of a ratio from what I've seen. It's not an insignificant number, for sure. I would hope that if xikers was selling out venues that they would try for larger ones next time around, especially if another album and more popularity comes between. Sorry about the car window. That must have made for an interesting drive. Good to hear it wasn't trashed during the concert, though. Car woos, as you say, are never ending.
