Oh man, that week Atiny really lost our sh*t. We were SO EXCITED for him. Years of him talking about fashion, reforming his clothes, talking about his dream of one day creating a gender-free fashion line, and all of the times he's mentioned Olivier, his documentary, etc. We all went bonkers. Hongjoong absolutely, repeatedly credits Atiny for the opportunity. We found out because he did a short Live so he could tell us and thank us himself before the press. When he got back to Copenhagen that night he did another short Live thanking us, because he fully acknowledges that nobody would know about his style if it wasn't for the fans. Since we know he's really into Balmain, when he would wear or mention it, many Atiny would make sure the brand bloody well knew. There's a twitter/insta account called Ateez Closet. When one of them wears something new, they post a pic next to info of the item, brand and price. It's nuts to me how much some of their clothes cost! The week after the presentation they had their shows in Paris, and reps from Balmain posted from the show. I added it up, and the outfit he wore for the encore was Balmain head to toe except for the tour T-shirt, and retailed at over $9,000. NUTS! He really gained a lot of confidence that day. He thought he would have to explain who he was all day, but Olivier and many people already knew of him/ATEEZ. He was so surprised but so happy people in that world already thought he was cool. He was ON FIRE for the rest of the tour.

Very cool Hongjoong had this opportunity. It's awesome that he's into fashion and making his own stuff through reforming. He definitely has his own sense of style. I'm glad it was such a confidence booster for him. It can be so intimidating going into an unfamiliar atmosphere like that, especially with none of the guys by his side, so it was great to see Olivier single him out for attention.
