These were fun games! The proverbs are definitely hard for the aussies, but it was interesting hearing some of them. I'm sure there is a massive amount of nuance that we are just completely missing by not hearing them in the native language though. The red light green light game though! I had never seen it played that way before but i think its a much more interesting way to play the game! Very fun! And they all look so good in the hanboks!

I know there's quite a bit of cultural and even historical references that slip past the outside observer with stuff like proverbs. They can be one of those things that if you don't grow up with, you just don't get. Heck, I bet most people in the US could use the term "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth" fairly accurately but have no idea what the original saying actually refers to.
