The intro part is the "Dear Diary 2016.07.29" which start the Fever 1 album and that date is exactly 4 years before the album was released. The song Fever took some time to grow on me, and while it's not my favourite I find the song interesting - I especially love Hongjoon's very raw lyrics and Jongho's light tone. Also Hongjoong's "Passion, Young, Fever" is the exact same line which was in "Turbulence" - once again they have this kind of almost cyclical nature in their music and storytelling where the opening of an era is connected to the closing of it. Or at least that's how I see it^^ Here's how Hongjoong described the Fever series when interviewed during Zero: Fever part 1 and how it relates to the previous Treasure series: "To define the new series Zero, I’d say it’s all about youth. We can say that it’s a prequel story, the story before the Treasure series, so we wanted to put in some diverse perspectives on youth itself. All the music, and all the contents like the diary film, are all related to the theme of “youth.” Honestly, I would say it’s about youth but it’s not about any age or any generation. The overall message is that youth can be hurtful, but it also at the same time makes your heart flutter. We want to combine all the feelings and messages of youth that everyone can relate to, and it's related to how you can find Treasure." And here is what Seonghwa says about his favourite lyrics of the whole album: "For me, in “Fever”: “Maybe we’re living younger, that’s why we’re fever.” I think that’s the overall main theme of this album, that we want to tell fans. I feel the idea of “fever” represents chasing our dreams and overcoming all the obstacles in our paths." And I think you might find this bit interesting too of that interview: Interviewer: "Can you expand a bit on what this storytelling means to you, and why you incorporate it into your music and performances?" Hongjoong: "It’s such an essential thing for ATEEZ. The whole story was planned before our debut, it’s something that goes with the history of ATEEZ. It contains important messages about our music. I think the story is the medium for our music, to deliver the messages that we want to talk about. Many people are very interested about this message and story, and that’s interesting to us too. " Oh and the hourglass is called the Cromer^^
