The last time I posted a snake TF publicly, I got yelled at for having the legs become the tail.  I didn't even know that legs shrinking and tail coming out from the back was an option, really.

I thought I'd see where y'all stood on this with a short poll!

Thanks for your input!

I'll go with anatomically correct with this one...

Technically the coccyx is a vestigial tail, and snakes do have vestigial legs, so spine extension is anatomically correct, but I have never seen or read of someone doing that tf properly, the loss of leg structure in becoming a tail during a fast change is also well understood as being part of the psychological journey of acceptance of change happening. My preference is legs to tail, but I trust that you have the ability to achieve whatever you think works best for the story, your a good writer, which is why I financially support you, do what you think is best. However a slow change and having to hide the arse tail might be interesting.

If you want to be anatomically correct, it would be the shrinking legs. But anatomically correct is not the main goal, the enjoyment of the description is, and I feel like fusion is better than shrinkage.

I don't mind either but since you've already done some snake TFs using the legs fusing, I wouldn't mind seeing your take on the legs shrinking. It could potentially lead to some interesting scenes or midway points of the process
