How To Train Your Dragon 2 is one of the best sequels ever made. Wedding Crashers and The Other Guys are fun good time movies as well

Anonymous

Please let The Other Guys win. Such a great movie

George Stapp

I know it probably won’t win but Thank You For Smoking is a great watch and very funny!

GnolRevilo

How To Train Your Dragon 2. It’s gotta be. So damn good!

Joe Mallard

Wedding Crashers is great!

Jens

Prisoners was so shockingly good! I wasnt ready when i saw it in the cinema! SO worth watching!

Samuel Newman

You guys should put Lucky Number Slevin on a poll someday. Great crime thriller with Ben Kingsley, Morgan Freeman, and Bruce Willis

Anonymous

Another request to put Super Troopers on a poll. I'd love for y'all to react to it!

Ian

Prisoners is so so so good

Brandon Ward

Other Guys was so much fun. I quote that movie a ton. Also, I can already picture the thumbnail and it's got me cracking up.

RandomNevermind

Interesting poll. Some of the movies I've never heard of. All of them from recommendations?

Anonymous

And technically a Thanksgiving movie so good timing as well

Joe D. MacGuffinstuff

I have a hunch The Other Guys will win, which is fine, it's really funny, love Will Ferrell, but I have to vote for my nostalgic classic, The NeverEnding Story, just to make relevant all those memes about why some Gen Xers and early Millennials are so f'd up and weird lol

Chase Schleich

I was just thinking about recommending it the other day. Crazy that it got chosen for a poll a day or two later. Definitely not going to win, but hopefully they still get around to it.

Brian

I feel safe here, surrounded by so many "The Other Guys" enjoyers.

Anonymous

"The Other Guys" is a must see. Wedding Crashers is a close 2nd.

Anonymous

Thank you for smoking is such a hidden gem and deserves to be seen.

Julian Calzada

Wow, I think this is the first time I've voted to everything o_o;

Anonymous

Guys, they’re gonna watch How to Train Your Dragon 2 eventually on one of their own picks. That’s how it works, why use your vote on it?

RandomNevermind

Suggesting two movies which are very good at visual side. The Cell - must see if you are Jennifer Lopez fan. Hail, Caesar - must see. Watch it one day please.

Martin

Hoping for The Other Guys. George and Simone would have a great time with that reaction.

djKENTO

If/when you react to prisoners make sure you have time to decompress. It’s heavy as fuck.

Carla Davis

I really wished they put movies by genres in their polls. Some of the season movies come down to what genre a person leans towards vs if the movie is good or not. How so you compare Prisoners with the other guys? One a comedy and the other a serious drama......smh

Ethan Holgate

Really hope the other guys win hilarious movie

ra ra rasputin

but thats what they do with nearly every poll already? once in a while they have these random mish-mash ones of mixed genres im guessing because every other genre someone complains about "but i personally dont like this genre~"

Nonimal

You will *never* go wrong with Denis!!

ra ra rasputin

ive definitely recommended at least 3 of them in the past. through dm's though.

Hovila

That's a funny comment on a poll named "A bit of everything"...

Andrew

Interesting choices , 2 movies I've never heard of

Thijs D

The other guys, it's awesome!

ra ra rasputin

yeah the more i read this comment the more confusing it gets lmao. what do you mean by "compare"? its not a poll asking whats the best movie, its a poll asking what everyone prefers to see first. theres no compare to begin with.

Martin Nicholls

I think I know what's going to win (after years of nobody giving a damn about that movie, btw, it seems to have found an audience), but I'm gonna say it now, Thank You For Smoking is an incredibly underrated movie.

Nate Gavin

Simone and George - if you like underrated movies, please have a look at Val Kilmer's Spartan!

dudewheresmycar

Of all the films listed, Prisoners is by far the most accomplished piece of film making. There's a scene with a car in the rain that is one of the most stunning looking pieces of cinematography I've ever seen. Denis Villeneuve simply cannot make anything less than a great movie!

Julian G

Prisoners is a top 5 for me. Looks like it's fighting for the silver medal.

Anonymous

Prisoners is a masterpiece. Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman are incredible in it. Btw, could you cover Atlantis: The Lost Empire?

Gary Z

A lot of good choices on this poll. The Other Guys is one of my favorite comedies

Ian

Please put Prisoners in the next poll, it’s one of my favorite movies ever. And like another commenter said, it’s Thanksgiving themed!

jmundt33a

“They look like strong hands, don’t they?” 😢

Tenn Seven

"Thank You For Smoking" is just hilarious. I definitely recommend viewers hit that one up if you haven't seen it.

Jason McCloud

Prisoners is hands down the best movie on this poll and it's not even close.

JoshG

Prisoners is soooooo good!

Anonymous

WEDDING CRASHERS - TREMENDOUS

jmundt33a

Once you know, you know. Some sad kids’ movie moments in this poll. Along with some gutting moments in other films. I will note that I prefer the TV miniseries and the recent remake better than the original Carrie. Clarkson and Lane are insane as Ma White, but the taste of trauma makes them more believable and interesting villains, particularly Lane’s version I also prefer Firestarter or Road to Perdition ending.

Kameron Webb

Prisoners is phenomenal! Emotional as hell, but fantastic performances from EVERYONE! if it loses I recommend for a Thursday or Sunday release

Garrett Mazzuca

The Other Guys is great and more popular, but Thank You for Smoking is slept on

Anonymous

Something about Mark Wahlberg puts me to sleep any time I see him on screen. Crossing my fingers for Wedding Crashers and Thank You for Smoking to pop up again on a poll soon.

Actuarial Lurker

Thank you for smoking is a brutal takedown of the tobacco industry covering up the harmful effects prior to the various lawsuits- a harsh watch but in similar vein as the Big Short as reality based docudrama

RandomNevermind

The Cell is simple as a pin. But it is visually captivating movie about serial killer. Watch once and never again. Hail, Ceasar is somewhat underrated Coen comedy which in fact is a love letter to Hollywood. That's a good one. I have no idea why it is so unpopular.

Byron

As into fantasy (or at least DnD) as George and Simone are, gotta go with Neverending Story.

Jason McCloud

There are some really fun movies in the poll, I agree. I just hope they get to see it at some point and we get their reaction.

Logan Nelson

Prisoners for the win...

Anonymous

Prisoners. Hugh Jackman's best performance.

Astraeos

The Other Guys is winning over those movies? Man, people on this channel really do have the absolute worst taste sometimes. Just unbelievable. Probably the worst Will Ferrel movie, easily. And Marky Mark is a POS who does not have intentional comedic chops.

Guy-on-Couch

no way, it is hysterical...but I agree it shouldn't be winning over some of these movies

Jeff K

This might be the first time in a poll where I've had no horse in the race. But, I hope y'all enjoy whichever movie wins!

Chase Lonnergan

At least we can all agree that those of us who voted for The Neverending Story are absolute monsters. Right? And... Ugh. Another Will Ferrell movie is winning.

Anonymous

There's no right or wrong choice. Its all subjective, buddy!

Anonymous

Hasn't George and Simone repeatedly asked people not to be shitty about other peoples taste in movies. Chill out dude.

FischerMax98

For me, The Other Guys may be funnier than Step Brothers.

overdev

"Thank You For Smoking" is such an underrated movie love that one

Anonymous

Wedding Crashers should be winning by a mile

MasterElodin

Ye I'm just confused that it is on this poll. Dont they normally do sequels whenever they feel like it between poll movies? Like with Mission Impossible ?

HeyHeyJK

100%. Amazing film with amazing performances all around, but Hugh Jackman ... whoa. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.

BiaN

Even tho Thank You for Smoking won’t win I hope y’all watch it, it’s such an underrated film

HeyHeyJK

I'm only giving a single vote to "Prisoners" even though there are at least two others on the list I want to vote for. As far as reactions go, you can't get much better than that film. Hugh Jackman's best performance ever (sorry Logan), and such an intense, fantastic script.

Grinznmore

Carrie. A Stephen King Classic.

Brendan Rafferty

An eclectic variety of movie types. A few I’d love to see reaction video to… but I’ve got to go with The Other Guys. While some of the bits are dragged on… it’s still one of the funniest movies I’ve seen in recent years. There are so many little things. Colombian drug lords! Also, while I haven’t been impressed by anything Mark Wahlberg has done (performance wise) since Boogie Nights, the choice of having him play his character deadpan serious works here

Richard Maurer

I subjectively think other people have horrible taste in movies. And since it's my subjective opinion, I'm never wrong.

Alex Ch

Not for me this time. But I know Christmas is coming up soon. I’d love reactions to White Christmas or It’s a Wonderful Life this season.

ra ra rasputin

god i hope youre joking Richard, cause that is not how subjective opinions work lmao

Brendan Rafferty

A great film that deserves to be seen by George and Simone. I voted for it as well, but as long as it’s on a poll with more recent movies, it has no chance. Most older films don’t win unless all the films on the poll are older

JoeE

Would also recommend dazed and confused and some like it hot

Richard Maurer

And I think they mean not to attack individuals. Saying people in general have bad taste is fine (or it should be).

Brendan Rafferty

Hail Caesar is a terrific homage to the post war studio film system and the films themselves. But sadly, after seeing multiple reaction videos from George and Simone …and seeing them not get so many references in older films, I don’t think they’d appreciate Hail Caesar because I think most of the references would go right past them. Not because they’re not capable of appreciating film… they clearly have interesting and informed commentary on many films… but because they haven’t seen many films from that era and, outside the films, won’t recognize references to actual people.

Odd Thomas

I am once again asking for Doctor Sleep

Grinznmore

I'm a classic sorta guy with thrillers. Whatever Happened to Baby Jane, War of the Worlds with Gene Berry, Day the Earth Stood Still, Fright Night....

Huckleberry lobo

Like for Ocean's 12 cuz it's been a while lol 🤘🏼😖🤘🏼

Anonymous

The swamp of sadness scene from The Neverending Story would crush Simone, I don't know if she could handle it.

Richard Maurer

@ musky elon - Somewhat joking, but I would assume everyone believes their opinion is correct. And when it comes something non-fact (subjective) based like art appreciation, your opinion is, in fact, always correct (for you, anyway).

j c

I advise against The Never Ending Story, the title is blatant False Advertising

Matt Chris

Prisoners !! I can't believe this movie won't win again in this poll 😪...again

Anonymous

Oh boy if there is ever one film that’ll make Simone cry :(

Wrencher86

Have you seen The Departed? He's pretty great in that. And I say that as someone who generally can't stand him.

Jeff K

And a Will Ferrell movie is currently also in second, as well. And yeah. If they ever do watch Neverending Story, I'm worried about Simone during... *that* scene...

Jeff K

Yeah, re: Marky Mark, I don't think it gets noted enough what a piece of shit he is. I mean, dude has committed literal hate crimes in his life. I realize he was young and people grow and mature and change, but it's awfully hard to ignore the fact he was arrested in his youth for committing racially motivated assault against a couple Asian men.

Brendan Rafferty

Yes. He was good in the Departed but I was unimpressed by his performance. Be confrontational and angry … in every line and every scene It was a one dimensional character and I’m sure it was written that way. I’m not saying his performance was bad, just unimpressive…. In this case, because there was no opportunity to show any range with this character

Travis H

Throwing support to Dragon 2 and Prisoners. Recs: Knives Out - a pretty much perfect murder mystery that you two would have fun trying to solve, plus Chris Evan’s in that sweater would make this a perfect movie for winter! Paddington - closest movie I know of that has the same feeling as Ted Lasso, especially the sequel! Game Night: best comedy that has come out in the last 10 years, but for some reason not often talked about (and it’s from the same people that did D&D)!

soup3097

Prisoners is elite and Wedding Crashers is funnier than The Other Guys

Chase Lonnergan

Yeah. I can tolerate Ferrell when isn't the star, though. As for The Neverending Story... Agreed. It might be the first time she actually swore at the patrons for voting for a movie. Lol. I say... If you are gonna do an 80s fantasy movie with heavy puppeteering effects and a memorable soundtrack, you do Labyrinth.

Ballsac McGee

poll ain't working for me. I trust the rest of you will choose well.

Chase Lonnergan

That's true. But there are also 1300+ pages in Stephen King's IT... But there are only two paragraphs that anyone really talks about anymore. Sometimes one scene casts a shadow over an entire story.

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

I voted for Carrie as my one vote as it has a soft spot for me.. Thank You For Smoking and Prisoners are the best films on the list imo...but Wedding Crashers would probably be the most fun reaction...so was hoping for one of those 4..but yeah...par for the course for me..haha.. The Other Guys was my predicated winner and to be fair it will be a fun reaction even if my fifth choice

Anonymous

I feel like such a curmudgeon on these polls, but "Thank You For Smoking" is the only one I could stomach watching.

Anonymous

clicking the checkbox doesn't work, but it should work if you click the part where the text is

Anonymous

I'm voting for Carrie and Neverending Story. Since it seems they will be on the loosing end of the poll, i hope they will reappear in later polls. I also hope to see Blow Out in some polls. It would be nice to see a reaction video to a De Palma movie that is a "real" De Palma movie (unlike Scarface and Mission:Impossible").

Jeff I.

*quickly scribbles on business card* Works on contingency? No, money down!

Jeff I.

The Other Guys is really funny, so I'll enjoy that one, but I hope y'all get around to Prisoners sooner rather than later because it's just so dang good. I gave Carrie a sympathy vote because it's really good in some ways but also very dated culturally and has a lot of terrible acting and dialogue from any actor/character who isn't Sissy Spacek (Carrie) or the actress playing Carrie's mom. Both of them give a great performance and the film has one of the best third acts/climaxes of any older horror movie IMO.

8bitAndy

Paddington 2 is incredible. I cried through the entire thing it made me want to be a better man.

sarCC

CARRIE! One of the best high school movies ever made.

Young Blood Priest

Though Die Hard 2 isn’t the best in the series it’s still a fun Xmas movie. At least in my house.

Quigonjim25

Been a while since you've watched a Martin McDonagh film (In Bruges).. so ill recommend, 1) The Banshees of inisherin. 2) Seven Psychopaths. 3) Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri.

dave

I'd love to see you two watch Source Code (2011) with Jake Gyllenhaal. I love that movie but hardly anyone has reacted to it and I think you'd both enjoy it.

Anonymous

Dear lord, not another Will Ferrell movie leading the poll 😫

Brandon Meng

I am so absolutely pumped for The Other Guys. It's Will Ferrell's best movie and it's not even close (with apologies to Stranger Than Fiction). Also +1 for Wedding Crashers. I mean these are two of my top comedies I've been spamming for recommendations for as long as I can remember.. I can't complain about this poll in the slightest.

Brandon Meng

lol I heart huckabees is a movie I definitely never expected to see mentioned here

Anonymous

The Worlds Fastest Indian (2005) starting Anthony Hopkins Big Fish (2003) starting Ewan McGregor

Quigonjim25

The fact that it's on a poll doesn't give much hope. If they wanted to watch it would be on the channel before it went to a poll.. Film franchises aren't Cinebinge's strong point.

Rob Church

Prisoners, Carrie and Neverending Story are my picks. Some of the best films of their genres.

Anonymous

I really hope you get around to watching prisoners sooner or later, it's an incredibly good movie from Denis Villeneuve.

Jeff I.

Yeah, I finally got around to seeing that one recently, and I really liked it.

Jeff I.

Banshees would be great! And I'd like to see The Whale at some point, if we're talking about recent Oscar-level films.

tundra

Not to mention anti-Asian Marky Mark Walberg. Yuck

D

Wall Street! Soo good! Both Sheens in it, playing father and son!

Anonymous

Raising Arizona !! Hail, Caesar! by the Coen Bros.

Saifu

Prisoners PLEASE!!

Anonymous

Some suggestions: - Almost Famous (2000) - Big Fish (2003) - Make sure Simone is hydrated before watching. - 12 angry men (1957)

Aww did someone's vote not win 😞 first world problems be the worst.

Anonymous

Wtf!!! Subscribers are so soft! PRISONERS WILL EARN A REACTION — the others will feel forced. Please watch something that will actually challenge you guys 🙏🙏🙏

REDR58

Get National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation from 1989 in the queue before the end of the year it at all possibly. It’s hilarious and the best of all National Lampoon movies by far. You can always go back to European Vacation from 1985 later if so desired.

REDR58

I don’t mind Will Ferrell in small doses, say twice a year . 😄

REDR58

Like with The War of the Worlds from 1953 They should really check out some classic Sci-Fi like Forbidden Planet (1956) Silent Running (1972), 2001 (1968) and Close Encounters from 1977.

REDR58

Yeah but that scene works out in the end, so….

Martin

More Will Ferrell. All the Will Ferrell, in fact!

soup3097

Bro how does the other guys beat Prisoners and Wedding crashers

Skyruff

How about the movie "John Dies at the End" that's a little bit of everything.

Kangdarius

Voted for wedding crashers. The other guys is just not funny to me after the first 30 or so minutes. There’s a specific scene that’s hilarious but after that it’s Meh

rick movienerd

With Christmas coming up you might watch Last Christmas and Violent Night not typical holiday movies but not too bad

RabidMango

That feeling you get when you come home from a hard day's work and you need to decide between Wedding Crashers, Carrie, Never Ending Story and Prisoners. Perfectly normal selection.

Anonymous

Prisoners is the best Thanksgiving movie

Christopher Henderson

After Other Guys y’all gotta see Semi Pro, Dewey Cox, and Blades of Glory.

FischerMax98

Can't wait to see your The Other Guys reaction.

Charley matthews

The fact that Wedding Crashers and The Other Guys are beating Prisoners is majorly disheartening.

Anonymous

I may be incorrect but i feel like it's a case of comedies polling well by comparison in a poll without a distinct theme. Comedies seem to be what reaction fans naturally gravitate towards, which is definitely understandable. I'm also a fan of Prisoners and it seems to have been a relatively popular choice for reactors to watch by a glance on Youtube, so i'm sure they will get round to it at some point!

Anonymous

I've watched it every single Xmas season since I was a child, classic.

Anonymous

Ikr, Wedding Crashers is so much better than The Other Guys.

Anonymous

That scene, which was great, should have been towards the end of the movie. That was such a mistake.

Anonymous

I love Prisoners, great film, not interested in seeing anyone react to it though.

droodly

Agreed. Although "Prisoners" is great, I think I would enjoy watching every other movie in this poll with them more than that one.

Efrain Zavala

Hey could you please do "Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping (2016)"? Thanks!

Nat B

Prisoners would make for an amazing reaction. Carrie too.

Charley matthews

Yeah it’s completely understandable, I get why they come out on top. Just love Prisoners!

Charley matthews

I do get that, didn’t mean to come off standoffish, I’m just of the opinion Prisoners is the better reaction. It takes you through a range of emotions as opposed to just laughter. I. Not hating, I’m sure they’ll do it another time! I like the other two movies and will happily watch their reactions just of the bunch Prisoners would be top by far for me.

Shoobs98

it breaks my heart to see prisoners lose, but i hope its in the next poll

benjamin freeman

Scent of a woman Please!!!! such an amazing film one of Pachino's best!

Anonymous

No. I admire, love, and respect two brothers' work, without parsing credit or blame to any one or the other. They are sensitive to it not being an issue so much so that they don't even take open credit for being the editors of their films. Roderick Jaynes is the pair's pseudonym for themselves - as one. Read up: "When Joel and Ethan Coen edit their movies, they use the pseudonym Roderick Jaynes so as not to highlight their names too many times. Though the brothers work as a team, their standard credit sequence is for Joel to take director, Ethan to take producer, and for both to share the writing credit... Blood Simple great first work. Miller's Crossing, brilliant stylized piece with an astounding soundtrack, again thanks to Carter Burwell.

MoulinNoir

thank you for smoking is, imo, an amazing film not enough people have seen

Raymond DeGraw

Love your reactions. Some great choices on that poll...but still hoping for these. 1. Braveheart 2. The Game 3. Holes 4. The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) 5. Falling Down

James Stephenson

Can't wait til they react to Lethal Weapon 3

SlaverStudios

Great list. Holes especially is so underrated. And Falling Down and Count of Monte Cristo are fantastic. The other two as well, but they're reviewed fairly often by comparison.

p0sthum4n

In addition to my oft-repeated suggestions for The Sopranos, I'd like to recommend Mr. Robot — probably one of if not the most cinematographically unique TV shows ever made, all four seasons are critically and viewer acclaimed, and I think the subject matter would intrigue both of you.

Robinson vs. Parkinson's

I would personally love to see your reaction to Drive, written and directed by Nicolas Winding Refn and starring Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Oscar Isaac and Bryan Cranston. Albert Brooks also does an amazing job with his role as the big bad (not a spoiler). It is a great film that really suffered, as far as financial success goes, from being totally mis-marketted as a crime/action driving movie. It has some great driving stunts and a great chase scene, but this film is much more than that. It's more of a slow burn character drama/thriller.

Ted K. had a point

It's also while stylish and well-made, also violent as hell. Not in terms of quantity, but the bursts of violence it has look a bit too real for my taste. Maybe I'm a bit squeamish, but I'm a grown ass dude and never wanted to rewatch it because the violence was a bit nauseating. Maybe it's why some people liked it, but for example "Se7en" (which I've seen several times) is an easy to watch feel-good flick compared to "Drive" in my books. Especially the elevator scene, it still haunts me. Maybe Simone will love it, but maybe she won't I don't know I don't know what about it was that got me, but for example the violence in "Gladiator" or "Braveheart" does nothing to me, I just laugh when heads get chopped off. But in "Drive" dunno, it felt somehow so real. Like somebody actually got murdered on camera, for real. I don't know what they did with the effects, but it didn't feel great to watch.

Jay Davis

Happy to see my pick looking to win (for a change). I will really enjoy that reaction! ...buuut. I DO think George and Simone should watch The NeverEnding Story regardless. Just so they can carry the same emotional scars that informed my childhood.

Jay Davis

I've been lobbying for that one myself for a while. Couldn't agree more.

Nate Gavin

2 other awesome cult movies worth considering: Ravenous (Guy Pearce) and Near Dark (Bill Paxton).

Anonymous

Marathon Man if you never saw it is pretty awesome.

Anonymous

Will you react to despicable me 2??

Jeff I.

Shredd, I think you're overselling the level of violence in Drive. I mean, the elevator scene literally only has one second/frame of gore. Personally, I thought Se7en was way more disturbing in terms of its violence, or at least all the implied violence/torture.

Tim T—

For an 80s fantasy movie with heavy puppeteering effects and a very memorable soundtrack, I' recommend Ronja Röverdottar.

Robinson vs. Parkinson's

I get what you're saying Shredd. I think Winding Refn would say that's the reaction he's after in this case. The violence is what defines Driver and even though he's using it for a good cause, in this case, I think it ends up costing him everything. Personally, I appreciate the realism of the violence in Refn's films. I don't particularly enjoy seeing the results of a close up shotgun blast to the head, but think about how much more suspenseful the scene is in the strip club with the bullet and the hammer after we've seen the hotel room scene. We know for a fact that if Driver decides to bring that hammer down on that bullet, we are going to get an unfiltered look at what would happen. The scene has so much more punch because the stakes have been set, and the director gets to keep us engaged and on the edge of our seats, even though in the end, the hammer doesn't come down. That's great storytelling and filmmaking to me, but again, I get what you're saying.

Logan Nelson

Heart this post if you'd love to see the original Power Rangers movie in the list?

Pete Luhtaniemi

Just continue with the Lethal Weapon movies. Why even start with something as legendary as LW and not watching them all? Instead we have to suffer yet another Mission Impossible reaction.

Anonymous

I agree. Nothing against the Mission Impossible films. But, more Lethal Weapon please!

Middy

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the reason they watched so many Mission Impossible movies is because they enjoyed them and so did the viewers.

Ph4ZeD

If you guys are looking for a nice short movie to react to instead of all the 2.5hr ones lately, you could always do Bruno!

jmundt33a

There are a fistful of Good MI flicks. Took awhile to get through. There are 2.5 to 3 good Lethal Weapon films. I’m sure they’ll get to the last two soon.

Logan Nelson

There was also a new one releasing so they needed to catch up... No more lethal weapons coming lol...

Logan Nelson

This needs more hearts people... I mean the song alone should rate a reaction...

Logan Nelson

Fallen, Running Scared, Kickboxer, and The Original Power Rangers Movie... Lessss goooo....

Anonymous

I’d love to see “Toy Soldiers” from the 80s - an incredible cast.

Dirge Girl

Four Rooms (1995)... Tim Roth, Quentin Tarantino, Madonna, Antonio Banderas, Tamlyn Tomita, Bruce Willis, Valeria Golino, and Salma Hayek.
