TLDR copyright scan bots forced us to re-edit and re-upload, so your comments are gone. Sorry :(
The studio came in with the claim then strike hammer, but luckily its before the videos published so we had time to edit and re-edit. After 4 more times we gave up and decided to just splash a text across the screen and hope. There's no guarantee this version will actually work, but so far its lasting a bit longer than the others. We'll be happy if it can reach a spot where its only demonetized but not "access blocked for 59% of your viewers".

Oh man... :( Sad to see your videos being striked. I saw your video 3 days ago, when you spoke about it. That sucks... But since money comes from Patreon mostly (I assume), wouldn't it be maybe better to upload and offer a completely striked video somewhere else, where it can't be copyright striked, instead of completely deleting it forever and then maybe link from here, so at least it wasn't for nothing?

yeah it would be awesome if it were just that simple, the unfortunate thing is that these strikes from bot scans isnt specifically a YT thing, the blame lays on the studio who deploys these scans. they target YT the most because its the biggest, but any other platform that reaches a certain size will get the same. YT has to allow the scans to occur because they are hosting these content and without this agreement, YT becomes liable for what users upload. Its no different than when reddit for example use to just let people post anything, until illegal things gets posted and reddit find themselves legally responsible so they have to enforce rules and restrictions from then on. We dont really care if a video gets demonetized on YT, its when the scan bot forces the video to be restricted from view. Patreon has no way to advertise a page, if you imagine it as a literal physical store, Patreon is the back room where all the products lay, but YT is the store front with the display windows. Without the store front, Patreon is a hidden room no one knows exists. So the two has to go hand in hand.

It’s a shame how’s those studios block stuff like that. A lot of movies I would have never given a chance if not for reaction channels. If anything it draws more attention to their product. I hope it doesn’t discourage you from continuing doing reactions. I’ve gotten so accustomed to watching Simone and you over the last year and half that it’s like watching movies with friends at this point. (wait that last part sounds kinda pathetic 😆)
